@@DadgeCity clear psychological warfare. Takes ridiculous time, jabbers, odd bet chip stacks... all of it points to an unorthodoxy of play that gets inside players heads. Then add in that he's ran really well and does a great mix of position play and bet sizing that completely keeps his opponents guessing which adds another layer of anxiety. Add in his amicable demeanor and accent/broken English and you have more sensory input that can perplex or fatigue an opponent too. There's a lot of stimulus for his opponents to navigate each hand he plays - he's literally wearing down an entire field at once.

Anyone know how they make the feature table pairing fair? How do they choose? On days 3, 4, 5….. is there some rotation going on with everyone but they try to grab a few big name?….or…?
@koensmit7533
@koensmit7533 Жыл бұрын
The table draws are random from day 1 (so there's no manipulation to get a certain interesting player on the feature table with other interesting players). When a table breaks up, the players are also assigned to the open seats randomly. The PokerGo crew just look at what table (or two tables in this case) might be interesting for the broadcast (tables with more than one well known players, controversial players like William Kassouf/Ali Imsirovic, the (former) chipleader and talker Zhang etc) and then they just swap that table with the feature table (everyone on the table is told to move to the feature table with their stacks, and they obv keep the same seats relative to each other) and play continues. When another table in the field gets more interesting than the feature table (or when the table's gets less interesting for the broadcast because it's already been the feature table for like two days, they swap the players of the feature table with an outer table again). The fact the PokerGo broadcast is showing the hole cards on a 30 minute delay is the most important thing about being or not being on the feature table actually. If you're alone in Vegas, it's better to not be on the feature table (or you have to watch the stream on your phone while playing). If you have a buddy there who can follow the stream and keep you informed of what players were holding in past hands, talking to him/her on the rail between hands can be very useful
