Every west sydney fan knows we deserved to win the afc comp i will never forget that moment we won im proud to be a wsw fan from the beginning and will continue to support my team through the good times and the bad times.

i was at the stadium in Riyadh, i watched everything work against. that game broke my heart. don't blame us Hilal fans cz what happened is simply shameful of the ref and we're used to dominate the Asian football, our great team spoiled us over the years with titles and trophies to the point we became so demanding and optimistic towards every match regardless of how good is the club we're up against. the defeat as I'd like to think about it is just to test my loyalty and undefined love to this giant team. Hilaly to my last breath ... one love to everyone.

I go for both Sydney and WSW, but I have to say winning the ACL is worth more than 3 A-League Grand Finals. By definition it's the Champions of not just one country, but all of Asia ! Asia is also a growing continent of Football powers.

I was there in the stadium, this game broke my heart, I could not believe that the ref (who was a big name in asian football back then) had a clear view of 3 penalties and didn’t even call for single one until I watched the after match, but this a side As a Hilali our players missed alot of chances and should have made any one of the chances count. But our Legendary team came back stronger and played 2 finals more 3 semi finals after 2014 and won in the very best way in 2019 winning home and way. Unfortunately this year we were kicked out of the ACL because of the covid situation (despite not losing a single game and been the best team in the west in the group stage !!) by the corrupt AFC, but we will come back stronger As usual. Congrats to WSW and hope we meet again

Can’t believe all the bitterness in these comments. A pen isn’t a guaranteed goal, a player can miss, keeper saves it. If your team was so good they would have scored in open play. And if we want to break down those 3 pens - the first one, I could see why the referee might think the player won the ball. Understandable but not a big deal, the Santa handball - referee is in a poor position admittedly, but I can see why he may think its come form Santa’s head or boot as opposed to his hand - that for me is the most lucky one for Western Sydney. The third one, honestly if I am the referee I’m not giving it, the player takes a very heavy touch and then goes down because he sees the keeper coming. For me I’m booking the player who has gone down for simulation. Because when you look at it there’s no way he’s getting to that ball before it goes out after that touch. Source on this is that I am a referee
