They state the '68 Chevy contraption is street legal, can that really be true in the US? Over here in the UK if you took that to get registered etc they wouldn't even speak to you, you would just be shown the door out of the place! I really like the COE as a camper truck, but the mirror finish would have to go on the back and the price would have to drop.........a lot.

Actually the boat cars are real. They actually go for around $20,000 to $6 million. They have shit tons of issues but they are real. They do float. Keeping the car engine sealed is tricky but its 100% real. That actually is a really stupid descent price. I do not recommend them because they require constant maintenance and are an even bigger money pit. I road in one once that was that exact same model and color back in the 1990s. They are cool but they are also insanely stupid.
