Hey Mike just so you know, Damashi was Onaga’s, the Dragon King, pseudonym to trick Shujinko into summoning him with the Kamidogus in Mortal Kombat Deception’s Konquest mode, he’s also mentioned in some of Reiko’s intro dialogue and even seen in Reiko’s Arcade ending.

Damashi is a callback from MK: Deception when Shujinko was tricked by Onaga. Onaga used the same fake name. Shang Tsung posing as Kronika was the developers tricking us (the audience) since Kronika was definitely not a fan favorite.

Love what they did with Geras, he went from fodder for the heroes to Liu Kang's best friend, potentially more powerful than Liu Kang without his titan powers and the wisest character in the base roster. Also, Liu Kang didnt make Geras to be his best friend or kind, Geras was always mostly on Liu Kang and the heroes' side, but hes destined to serve whoever carries the hourglass in his timeline. He just more buddy with Liu Kang now.
