Half of the people don't watch one piece because of early animation and pacing . I think it's the best time to get a remake because we know that it will definitely get a remake by the end of series but I think it is the best time to pass the responsibility as the voice actor are soo old now . After the new anime adaptation one piece will definitely become the greatest anime / series ever for me atleast ( it was my favourite before but due to the adaptation issues it definitely had many flaws ) . But now we know that one piece has became Netflix favourite . The only negetive is that they are animating east blue again bruh animate alabasta or something . But still the old style will never be forgotten the work of animators for decades since the start will love on forever . 👑

I had no clue that this was going to happen ... bro I was so happy! fast forward to 2023 April - May, around the time tarun started watching one piece, I started with him, and now we got Netflix Live Adaptation of One Piece, And Remake announcement!!! This has happened twice in a row with 2 of the Big3s... i wonder what will happen If I started watching Bleach

I never asked for one piece to be remade from scratch.. But what I did ask for is making a separate show for one piece (like DBZ Kai but copy complete manga), or something like ONE PACE but from TOEI.. Cause In reality the if I remove filler, still frame and unnecessary reaction and other thing which feels like a stretch and just copy paste manga into anime it will be around 500-600 episode worth (with intro and outro), not 1100, so if they are remaking the anime that is absurd cause the og fans will never accept that. But if they just shorten the original anime and just increase the animation quality.. and they will be acceptable, Also I hope they increase the show pacing from Egghead arc take break make one piece into a seasonal show but don't make it slow pace.. Ik the Animation Quality is Good (considering its a weekly show) but the pacing sucks. so just take more breaks and improve the overall pacing. bc rn when i watch one piece It just take 12-13 minutes for me to complete the 22min episode So just improve the pacing or make the og anime into a better paced episode. I will watch the new one piece. But tbh I don't think Netflix will continue to produce it. if they do that's fine by me cause many people who are scared by the numbers of can also witness the greatest fictional story ever written

There is a lot of reasons for one piece to get a remake. Toei literally messed up the show after time skip. They are literally adapting less than a single chapter per episode and filled the episodes with useless fillers, flashback and reaction shots. You will realize that when you reach post-timeskip. They are also still using the 90's sound effects that they used on dragon ball. Toei isn't doing justice to one piece as a story. They ruined it for the anime watchers already and many have switched to the manga (so did I and it was worth it). There is a reason one piece is infamous for it's pacing. Early one piece pacing was still good compared to what we are getting right now. At this moment there are more anime episodes than the number of chapters they adapted lol.

Anime industry is a money making industry. It's a business, no animation studio will adapt any story if they are not sure abt the profitability. Firstly if bersek is faithfully adapted it would definately be 18 plus, meaning that most unfer 18 audience would not be able to watch it through official means or buy the blu ray. Anime make their profit through blu ray snd official anime website. Tokyo ghoul remake should have came half a decade eariler as it was still mainstream. Now its just followed by its faithful fanbase.
