Within Temptation and Tarja joined forces for the new single "Paradise (What About Us?)" of Within Temptation's upcoming album. In this second 'making of'-video for Paradise you can see Sharon and Tarja during a photo shoot for the artwork of the single.

Its so wonderful to see these beautiful women working together, they are the two icons in female-fronted metal no mater what other people say, they brought out the genre to the world and made it into what it is today! I really hope they get the chance to perform live together.

Doro Pesch is the Queen of Metal. She's 12 years older than Tarja and 10 years older than Sharon. I always wondered how this two beautiful woman could look so young for their ages, could handle the fitness you need for their incredible Stageperformances, have both married man who fully support their musical Carriers and be a Part of it, are still together with their Husbands, who are also the fathers of their kids, play so many Concerts, at the times they were pregnant and be on Tour since their Kids are alive.

I saw them live together. Within Temptation was one of the Main Acts for the Mera Luna Festival 2018 or 2019 and for this one Song they get Tarja on Stage. It was incredible. If someone of you wasn't their just look it up on KZfaq and you will find the original Video from this live Performance.

Tarja hits me as if she had been way more balanced and calm and serene than ever before. It is clear to see she felt well. As for Sharon, she is amazing, like always. Gosh, it was time for such a collaboration, bless the one who came up with the idea!

Interesting... I can indeed confirm that Sharon is a wonderfully down-to-earth and sincere person. I met her when they came outside after a concert; she did everything she could to help out when my taxi failed to show up --which got me about half a dozen water bottles. For lack of anything else she kept bringing one from their bus. :) So... although I reckon you agree that she would never demand it, most folks would indeed try to accomodate her. but, as you said, everyone has a say in WT. Ah Tarja and Sharon, it is as if two lifelong friends have reunited and are happily working together. Their happiness is infectious, I could not help it I smiled through the entire video. I guess you can say you really like/love someone when their happiness makes you happy and I'm happier than a pig in shit right now.

Looks like these two are getting along famously :) It's already been said a billion times, but after the collab with Anneke van Giersbergen on Black Symphony (also epic btw), this one with Tarja is just -wait for it...- LEGENDARY. iim very happy to see my queens together in one song, pretty epic. hope that Tarja will sing with Anette and Nightwish will resurrect. Time stopped for me in 2005, but for other reasons. Actually Tarja and Sharon remind me of Tatu in here, metallic Tatu. Tatu sings "All about us", they sing "What about us". a prophecy of resurrection. i hope so.

Well, she wouldn't claim she has an amazing voice. But she did mention, not only here, that WT was pleased with the song but they thought it would fit the wonderful voice of Tarja very wel. I think she even said that it lacked something she could not give. Anyway, she made it clear that Tarja has an amazing voice.
