Great highlights video! It's ridiculous how this video from over 8 years ago has a much higher framerate than they do now...

I think its too bad that when people watch this, they see two chinese. I see two great sportsmen, two players who i have great respect for. I wish i could play like Wang Liqin.

Chen Qi's Halcyon days were ephemeral. his backhand weakness was terrible

Great players. Im always hoping for Chen Qi to climp more up the ranking, but he seems kinda stuck around #7.
@TTPokemonLover15 жыл бұрын
He changed the footwork and made his serve more top-spinny (is that a word? lol)

I said it is not the Chinese's fault for being superior. Cai Zhenhua, China's most senior table tennis official, is quoted as saying: "If one association keeps winning everything, it's good for that association but it's not good for the sport." Google "cai zhenhua chinese dominance". It is not illogical to say that a final consisting of China vs. China will have less international appeal than a final with China vs. any other country. In NHL, you don't have Canada vs. Canada.

Perhaps Chan should take some gymnastics floor exercise so he can bounce to places he wants faster.

I didn't say it is the Chinese's fault at all. Just said that what you are saying not logical. By the way, still about 50% of NHL players are Canadians and it was used be about 70%. So you do see Canadian vs Canadian( I didn't say Canada). And what can Chinese players do for international appeal? Let some European players win? lol

It's a pity that other countries do not have ability to beat china.

The commentator should first learn how to speak the word Qi and Qin. I always heard them pronuncing Qi in "KEE" and Qin in "KEEN".

It's bad in the sense that other countries don't want to play because of Chinese dominance. I mean, who wants to watch China vs China all the time?

You are saying that NHL was used to have too many Canadian,so ice hockey is not popular? Too many Japanese players were at the top of Judo, so Judo is not popular? I believe some day many nationality players will be at the top of table tennis as long as they enjoy playing this sports. Chinese are simply good as they are playing harder than other nations. And I have to say that you don't have any logical thinking and shouldn't make such a comment. By the way, I'm not Chinese.
