ODB, RZA, U-God, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Cappadonna, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, GZA and Method Man even sounded completely different to each other and had different styles. If you listen to new rap groups like Migos, all of them sound the same. It is so ironic that rappers who were in the same group didn’t sound the same while almost all new rappers sound the same.

There's good rap that will be remembered in the future just like we remember wu-tang. And there will be bad music we won't remember in the future just like all the forgotten musicians that never made stuck back then.

Deck always get slept on by people, but that guy had a hot verse in almost every big song Wu did. He was always killing it, but even in terms of Wu members, doesn’t get a lot of credit. I mean, all the guys in Wu are incredible but gun to my head, Deck and GZA always had the best verses.

Wild how this vid looks expensive and bootleg at the same time...explosions and slow motion panoramas but then cutting in all this lo-res footage of their other videos like some Wu-Tang infomercial... it was actually the first Wu vid I saw, so those clips kind of hipped me to their past vids so I went back and found them...first view it gave you this feeling like they have crazy legendary underground history that you already missed out on. This vid is straight terrifying, for the first 30 secs no one is showing their face and for viewers who didn't know the 70s/80s origins of those burnt buildings, it looks like a movie scene, a war zone. Of course it was before social media, so these dudes felt elusive, mythic, all you had to go on was the vids (whenever they would randomly show) and the music👑

I just came back to say one time a while ago, i took some acid alone in my room and threw this video on.
