Always something fun from Wu Tang Collection. If I had a top 5 Wushu/Wuxia Movie list it'd read: 1 Big Trouble in Little China 2 Dance of the Drunk Mantis 3 The Kung Fu Odd Couple 4 Wuxia (Donny Yen) 5 Just Call Me Nobody (despite the reviews I loved this flick) Number six is in contention; either 36th Chamber, Sam the Iron Bridge, or Kung Fu Hustle I know there's no Jackie Chan or Hwang Jang Li, Jet Li, Kwan Tak Hing, or even Bruce Lee, movie among my favorite five, but I take nothing away from those icons of the genre. Other favorites include them: Drunken Master, Once Upon a Time in China, Magnificent Butcher, Enter the Dragon, Chess Boxing . . . and a flick that deserves a lot more respect than it gets: Ho Chung-tao's The Chinese Stunt Man (with Dan Inosanto, no less!).

Many great comments on this movie. Description gives an overview of all. More details are: The Japanese sword fighter is "Lu Shangi Pu" doing the challenging. 4 fighters in red & black, 1st is (Unicorn Chan) and 4th is (Chan Lau). The "young man" is Wu Yen. Plenty of training at the monastery. Girl is "Miss Et Ta". Tiger Ko is (Hau Chiu Sing) amazingly looking nothing like he did in Snake in the Monkeys Shadow. "Yuen Kung" teaches him the drunken style and there is tons of great fighting again in last half of movie ! Much more than described. Great directing job done. 1k dislikes is baffling if they are kung fu fans.
