Love the ones with the narrator who gives you historical background for the film. Unlike American kung fu movies (which are only interested in the violence), Chinese kung fu films came/come out of that country's long, turbulent history & religious/spiritual diversity.

Chi Kuan Chun is a great martial arts practioner he studied Hung-Gar for years. Love the movies he did with the late great Alexander Fu Sheng Ti Lung and Venom Mob Co. Funny how you hear sounds from the Exorcist 2 in the morgue scene 😂.

Blending in with description: "Chee Po" (Lung Fei) is that felon. (Ko Fei) only makes cameo at begin. Mistress Hung is (Hu Chin). "Ta Chu" (famous waiter in films, Got Sui Bo) has a good amount of time in movie. Mr Su (Chi Kuan) has a good moderate (average) amount of fighting up to the 50 minute mark. Rest fighting really kicks in. "Cho Tin Sin" (Chin Ming) is the long gray haired man responsible for the family killings. Main goal is to locate the ancient ginseng (description) and the jade buddha. End no surprises just awesome fighting ! Lots of commenters say so.

This flic (1979) is one of those what the beloved hero done in Taiwan,after he left the S.B. Same Director done (The Victim-1976),also with Chang Yi.Phillip Ko just to short as monk at the beginning and then disappear somewhere....saw this in Cinema in the golden times for the jade screen and where else as here.

The introduction promised so much, but failed to deliver. Where is the spooky Tibetan witchcraft and martial arts? Fatty is by far the best thing about this film (along with Little Fatty).

I think Chi Kuan Chun used eagle's claw style prior his final fight with Tommy Lee. Chi ripped off both Tommy's two top fighters straps and once their armor removed, they're no longer protect it.
