Moral of the first 2 episodes: don't let pride takeover in making important life decisons. Learn to humble yourself and accept that where you are now is not where you'll always be. He was too ashamed of going back without achieving or accomplishing anything that he resort to risky and life-threatening methods in order to gain instant success. There's a price to pay even for instant success. It's not worth it especially if will cost lives.

Moral of the story, don't decide the fate or marriage of your children. Had it not for the stubborn father, it would not have happened too. Especially for Asian parents, they tend to lord over all decision of their children's life. I simply despise those who proudly called themselves 'tiger' moms who thinks their children are their slaves.

When they review Chinese Wuxia series, they really need to add something to track inelligence of main characters from 0/5. Like this blockhead who reveals his name to enemies and refuses to flee and keeps fighting until his master has to risk his life to join the fight. And then hangs around his house chatting with his wife even though his master tells him to get ready to flee. And then takes his wife to the most crowded place in town at the bar instead of going directly to see his master. Oh... leaving his wife alone at the bar. I am surprised he knows how to dress himself in the morning by himself. And then not killing any enemies even though ample chances. Just refuses to use their swords to kill. How can characters be this dumb? Oh while they are trying to hide from enemies in a cave, the wife asks him to start playing the flute. I guess to attract the enemies. It's so dumb.... and then walk into town without ANY makeup or disguise whatsoever. They do not even seem a bit surprised when they are surrounded by enemies in new town. And then the old master decides to step on top of a building to finally use his sword... to fight arrows. Instead of just stepping off and avoiding arrows. Is it really that hard to put some brains into characters? Does anyone know if the characters get any smarter in later episodes? Or is it stupidity after stupidity?

Why did the husband make the Old Master go hunting for food? Why didn't he go hunt for food? He stood around playing the flute 😂 Honestly I think her dad wanted her to marry her Senior cause he can better take care of her. Her husband is a good man and he's good at fighting but not really good at taking care of her. I mean last episode he dropped the food he bought for his wife and brushed it off as if it was nothing 🤷‍♀️
