This isn't all of them, but this is just a small sample of the non-rock artists who are in there (plus two of them are rappers): Neil Diamond, Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Dick Clark, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Cash, Arethra Franklin, Earth Wind and Fire, Grand Master Flash, Chet Atkins, Eminem, Joan Biaz, Harry Bellefonte and Janet Jackson. Honestly, I think there should be something that holds that much clout, but is for Rap, but the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame is more about the contribution to modern music, more than it is about being full on rock. Anyway, Tne Beastie Boys are in the Hall of Fame, and while a person could argue they are pop, they absolutely are not rock. They are rappers, they may not be in the lineup in terms of your average true rap fan's favorite, but they are rappers, and Eminem is definitely a rapper, and he is also in it - now, you could argue the fact that they are white, and while I agree that likely is why they are in there over a say NWA, who should be in there over either of the other two, there are black artists in there who aren't in rock or even pop. I didn't add all of them to the list, but you'd be surprised by some of the names on there who aren't rock artist at all. Really, I think at this point they could change the name to the Music Hall of Fame, and just include seminal artists who deserve to be honored regardless of what genre they belong to. There are some names in the Hall Of that I personally don't understand, like Dick Clark. I get Barry Gordy, but Dick Clark makes ZERO sense to me.

@@philipmario9809 does the amount of members matter in how good an album is? No, not at all! And I'm not saying that it's better cause it sounds better that's it, I got legit reasons. My main reason for seeing albums like that as better is simply because 36 chambers has sketches at the start of songs that go for 30 seconds to a minute and a half. It's a hassle to find where to skip to get to the song in comparison to just listening to the song. I know all songs aren't like that but it's the reason I don't have 7th chamber on my playlist, why I won't add the mystery of chessboxin ECT. It also has a bit of a length on it which I wouldn't like to listen through it all. And then I found out that mystery of chessboxin is 7th chamber but sped up and with different lyrics. I think an album like illmatic is better because no skits it gets straight to the point even during songs, it only has 9 songs, short and sweet. Songs aren't other songs but done differently they are all fairly unique from one another while also sounding like they come from each other which is something I like about it. I bought that album and I love it. Like I said I still love 36th chamber but illmatic takes the cake for me
