Wuthering Waves put out a CBT2 dev blog that has massive changes to echoes, character buffs, and even end game additions! They are absolutely cooking over at Kuro games and I am all for it!

I seriously couldn't believe it when I saw this developer response. They've addressed almost every single thing the community had complained about, and in blazingly fast speed too. The fact that they reworked the RNG aspect of their echoes upon the first wave of criticism makes me have very high hopes for this game, and overall anything this company does. They are willing to listen and be generous with their players.

@@member.5290 Indeed it is, but nowadays its rare in the gacha space for a company to not only listen to player feedback, but rework gacha systems and RNG, and in such a quick time too. They could have easily just released the echoes system as is and drain players of money for a long time before changing it after backlash, but they went in and immediately changed things for the better before release

many of this echo problems i reported on the beta and talk about them on the comments on multiple cc channels, i was tagged as a genshin stan and everyone told me i was making it up, now that is fixed they go with "oh they listen to us!" thank god they didnt listen to the "everything is fine you are just a genshin whiteknight" crowd

@@novyknec1113 pretty much, most of the things they ask are a niche in itself like the abyss which is played by 10% of the community as a whole, the minigames and garbage they complain about is unironically liked by most of the community and they want it out lmao theres also the "who cares about lore and exploration" ccs, the majority of the community likes what they pretend is disliked in their echochamber thats why their games flop, see what happen when us playing WWs beta complain about the issues, they called us genshin stans and mihoyo whiteknights now what kuro games is fixing the issues they pretend didnt exist and say we made them up they wanna take the credit pretending to be th ones giving the feedback, this people is trully insuferable

ZZZ has 2 times more pre-registrations than WW. If WW can’t defeat even little ZZZ, then he may no longer dream of Genshin’s money... The greedy ghouls from WW are trying to grab too much of his audiences and will be punished for this... They should have only grabbed one audience, for example making a game with 100% anime boys or 100% Waifu. Now they have doomed themselves and no one will need this game. As a PGR player, this is nothing new, Kuro always have been very close to us as a community, always listening to feedback and making sure the consumers are satisfied. The game will only improve so much more after every patch ill promise you that much.

Calcharo extra intro animation was locked behind (constellation-genshin term) sequence 2, they changed it because alot of people wanted to see it and were disappointed that it was locked behind constellation/sequence. btw verina is one of the best buffing unit in the game, dont sleep on her just because she heals, same for baizhi!

"No longer dream of Genshin's money" Did Kuro told you that they want to suck genshin players into WW? No. Cause not EVERY SINGLE open world game is genshin copy, even Genshin itself is a copy. Kuro is known to be more generous than Hoyo and listen to the playerbase more, while you just cry cause you dont like how characters look, "Waifu"... Ew, please dont use that word again. Open world in WW looks more realistic, as it has less vibrant colors than Genshin does, Kuro or PGR never had a drama made by playerbase while Genshin has a long history of it, like the google classrom incident, and the one what happened on the third anniversary, Genshin/Hoyo gives out trash rewards, while Kuro throws free things at starters and most of the features in their game were enjoyable and also gave out free game currency, and so they never got into any drama with that. I repeat, if a studio makes a open-world gacha game IT DOESNT automatically make them a genshin competitor, since Genshin can be called a botw clone.

This is what Wuwa was supposed to be, but never will be, because KURO went crazy when they saw Genshin's profits and made a 100% copy in hopes that Genshin players would pay them a second time for the same characters and same gameplay. Kuro's plan is to quickly release their clone so he can make enough money before better games come along. Games that put real effort into differentiating themselves from Genshin - Azur Promilia, Endfiled, Mugen. Promilia will be a game for an adult male audience. Endfield will be a real classic RPG like Dragon Age with 4 heroes on the battlefield at the same time. Mugen has gameplay of the Spider-Man game. All of these games are innovative, bring something new and are miles ahead of Wuwa, which chose to be just a clone of Genshin, with copied gameplay and characters from HOYO.

Glad they're taking the feedback from the CBT seriously. The game is pretty cool from what we've seen so far, can't wait to play when it launches. Tho I'm a bit worried about if they can maintain the level of quality of the content, only time (and player spending) will tell.

Even if ZZZ has more preregs than WW, it again confirms you dont know anything about Kuro, they dont advertise their games, that explains low preregs, while Hoyo doesnt need to advertise really due to their games being popular enough. The game might blow up when its released, If Kuro WOULD try to get money quickly by trying to "ClAiM gEnShIn'S mOnEy" they would not listen to the playerbase that much, and would just fix up neccesary things and leave rest complains alone. It is quite annoying how desperate you are to prove that Kuro just wants money and nothing else.

And also censored Waifu, dressed in grandma's clothes, which they also took from Genshin. And also lolis and schoolgirls, who should not be in action games at all. Because children are not action heroes, but they did this in Genshin and made billions from it, and therefore everything was copied completely. Wuwa has nothing new in the game at all.

I love this company. They absorb all feedbacks whether they're positive or negative but instead of cancelling and banning their critics from their game, Kuro Games literally listens and improve the game even better. This is awesome, this takes care of 99% of my concerns for the game. The only thing left in my list is some F2P friendly crit weapons (4* or standard banner 5*), they are extremely limited right now. Anyway, wasn't expecting Kuro to hit all this things so quickly, specially things like hit feedback, it seems like they truly are listening to player feedback, this is very encouraging.

@@angmar87Wouldnt Kuro make a non-fair banner mechanics? Instead they made a guaranteed weapon in the banner and couple of things, they even give a free 5star weapon, while genshin? All what genshin can give is three wishes for three years. Knock it into your empty head that Kuro is not looking to kill genshin, not every openworld game is a "genshin killer", understood that?

This is KuroGames (since PGR), of course they listen as long as it is reasonable and valid. I played pgr until now, they sure live up to their reputation and listen well to their community. P.S. jp xiao va in genshin voiced Lee in pgr so probability in the va to audition WuWa is good.

Not really a meme. Genshin players have been asking *since release* for A TON of stuff that could easily be implemented, but miHoYo always ignored their players and eventually "Genshin could never" was born. That's kinda it.

Now, it is fantastic the same dev make it into Open World with flashy combat and So many Waifu😅😅😅, I can't wait. 6:51 yes but it's still not a good system. Because what this means in genshin language: you are leveling up a artifact and then you consumed it into the strongbox, your artifact is still fully destroyed but you have a 10 percent change now it will roll those stats on the next artifact you get. 10 percent is a increase but it's still not a good system. This change in the echo system Just made it an par with genshin artifact system, not better, we need a Better version, not the same This is what I would like to see: farm endlessly for the right mainstat echo. Leven that up and have them have 4 sockets/slots. And the rendomised turners you get have a stat like: Crit damage. YOU decide if you slot this turners into this echo. You if you have 1 Crit DMG, 1 Crit rate, 1 ERG, 1 EMD you are free to slot those ones in yourself in this echo. Why is this so hard to understand ? Other games do this why doesn't genshin or withering waves do this? It's mind-blowing they don't implement this.

It could be sick if they really lean into the mount movement with smooth grinding rails and stuff. Not gonna be this game, but I've wanted a really good tricky combat racing game for the longest time, think Mario Kart X extreme sports games like SSX 3 and Jet Set Radio and then some, with tons of variety in gameplay and ideally a great level and game mode editor. Let's say you took a jump off a ramp the wrong way and are about to crash into an object, now let's say that object can be destroyed with a trickshot, costing you your item (charge) but saving your jump. Opening/closing/changing paths with explosions, boosting off a ramp to get to a higher path etc., or you just shoot and ram other players with them.
