Gameplay from Wuthering Waves Closed Beta Test 2. The total storage size of the game is not confirmed with all the patches, and the original download it is sitting at 10gbs on my device currently. There is no controller compatibility at the moment. This should be ready by release. My device has a built-in controller with a mapping feature that allows its controller to work. This is only a beta, and by release, you can almost expect a lot of optimization updates. Giving feedback to Kuro Games is a great way to make the game better and add changes for both casual and competitive players. There is a lot to be worked on, but this game definitely has had the most potential out of any upcoming gacha.
(I will say please watch other content on the game to get the full picture of what gameplay is like.)
Developers Recommend Specs.
Minimum:
Android v7.0 or higher, with Snapdragon 835, MediaTek G71/72 or processor with higher performance.
Recommended:
Android v7.0 or higher, with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, or MediaTek processor with equivalent performance.
For Ram 6GB+ With 6GBs being the bare minimum. I recommend 8GBs this is almost required for demanding mobile games like wuthering waves.

The device I play with is called the Ayn Odin 2, a great Mobile choice for a game like this.
Specs include: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 12gbs of ram, 256gb of storage, 1080p 60hz 6 inch display.

Oh it's the 12gb ram variant, that's why it looks good. I have 8gb ram and textures look pasty and blurry for me even at max graphics, everyone I've seen with good looking textures on mobile have 12gb+ ram.

They couldn't take dodging and shit like souls player does, yeah i have a feeling that they'll ended up return. But don't get me wrong, this game is way better than Genshin. It's just the gameplay aren't fitting for Casual gamers.

For the similarity with Nier Automata the way WuWa characters glide is pretty much how 2B and other android glide with their Pod... And the grapple thing is also similar with one of Pod skill A090 Wire.... I mean both games has the exact same animation *Minus fishing 😑

Seeing all the pc players and how complex the gameplay is I was concerned they’d cut mobile out of the picture. This is amazing! I can’t wait to play and get all the cool characters and echoes. I hope when it releases everyone gets the characters they want and need!!

One thing I realized watching this is how they kept the natural/environmental sounds while roaming about (stuff like animals, wind, far away bird chirping). It reminds me of BotW/TotK and I really hope they keep it, it makes the experience feel like you're actually outside in that environment. I play Genshin regularly as well, and I know it has these kinds of sfx too, but they feel more spread apart and less often than this showcase, and I think it's partially because Genshin focuses more on having the accompaniment soundtrack related to each region/location played more often.

The controls seem pretty good was a bit scared for them with mobile. Just because in my head it seemed like there would be a lot of buttons on the screen and I would have to manage them and remember which is which.

I was scared too. I started playing fighting games a few years ago and it was difficult to learn what buttons did what and how to use them in conjunction. In this game, there’s not enough buttons to be overwhelming, but there’s enough to supply you what you need. If the buttons look intimidating, it won’t be when you play the game trust me. I’m a mobile CBT2 player! You learn the button very quick

When i first playing genshin i just go straight ahead and unlock all the teleportation and without doing any quest first because if all the map teleportation is unlock you can freely go anywhere so i will be doing that in wuthering waves if wuthering waves have teleportation wave point

I hope this game is as friendly to play as Genshin. My chipset is Kirin 980 and playing Genshin can be set to mid-high 45 smoothly, whereas I have to set this game to low 45fps before it can run smoothly.

i honestly don't get the argument "there's too much buttons and in mobile it's gonna suck.", you don't have to click buttons simultaneously in this game, sure there are 7 main buttons but you can PERFECTLY play with just two of your thumbs, it's not a mobile FPS game where you have to click multiple buttons at once, you don't need finger independence when using two thumbs, it's literally just like any open world game but you have more options other than E-Q and switch character. people do really have massive skill issue sometimes and they fail to realize it lol.

Same that's why I came here to check out if it was only me, apparently not. This game isn't even working on a stable 15 FPS on my phone with LOWEST graphics possible, for reference, I can run Genshin at a somewhat stable 30 FPS with medium settings/high rendering... I never complain about performance because I'm used to having horrible devices, but this is actually unplayable it's draining my battery and looks horrible due to the lowest resolution and STILL manages to be unbearably stuttery and jittery, seems like 10fps on average.

@@dzomar9307 Very unfortunate...for some reason my mother's phone is really good, can run Wuwa at unstable 30-40fps on high rendering and low shadows. FYI, that phone can run Genshin at a fixed 45fps on HIGHEST graphics. Unfortunately, she obviously won't let me use it lmao. I'll have to wait until the Devs update with better optimisation so I can play...

Looks pretty solid, stutters a bit too much, so they could improve that hopefully, texture rendering could also be improved as a lot of things close and far will first appear as "clay" and then update textures. But overall, it seems really good and fun and can prob lower some settings to improve the stutters

Here's the thing. I have a ryzen 5 5600 Rtx 3060Ti .... The stutters, frame rate drops are horrible. Graphics are blurry even at ultra settings. The cutscenes lag a bit, but it can be ignored. However the gameplay itself is a optimisation mess.

There's no motion blur, Ray tracing. But looks exactly the same depending on frame rate of your phones specs.

I hope the story is good. One of the reason why genshin is "genshin" is basically due to its storyline that most players enjoy especially archon quests, that's also the reason why TOF flopped.

Dangggg your delusional. Don't you DARE try to make this game like genshit. Cause the quests and archon quests NOBODY truly enjoys unless they're a psycho. Quests in genshin are just pointless, redundant, tedious and basically just feel like chores,just to get some mediocre @ss rewards,that wasn't even worth the 40 minutes or 1 to 6 hours of grind. The amount of time it takes to complete most quests in genshin just for some mediocre @ss rewards, should be hella illegal. And if y'all keep defending that everyone is just "playing bc they LOVE the story and are just staying for the lore🥹" well it's ab time y'all realize that you have too much time to waste. And genshin isn't only a game for casual players, So get that out of your disgusting mind. A lot of genshin players like me have different goals. And we're ALWAYS getting blocked by quests,events,puzzles and even enemies,just to get some mediocre rewards 🫠 Like especially when I'm trying to get my fave characters and I don't have enough primogems😤 it's just WAY too obvious that hoyo wants us to spend money,but even if we spend money,it won't be worth it,cause look at how expensive everything in genshin is. Even things that cost mora are hella expensive,only a hoarder would have tons of mora and other resources. But for players that wants to build all their fave characters, we're ALWAYS running out of mora and other resources quickly. I don't like how we have so many characters but we can barely have fun with them,bc we can't rlly build them rn. Since we're always focusing on getting better artifacts.

Your statement doesn't make sense. If you mention anything "ToF" then you just killed not only Blue protocol but also other games in the future (wuwa, mugen, 7ds origin, etc.) because you are just over predicting and over estimating and pretend as positive opinion and threat as "anti ToF", of course you don't even experience any games during release very long time to express the other games you play. You just only thing Genshin as main game. That is why lots of other games communities start to boycott and avoid Genshin community for harming other games.

@@Leonel-qw2kd May I remind you Inazuma is the 3rd region? In a story build-up, do you start at the mid story and decide whether to keep reading or drop it off? Genshin became popular because it was an anime like storytelling and was a unique open world game, it wouldn't be as successful as it is if the story was trash as you are pertaining. Though I do agree, the Inazuma archon quest was quite disappointing but the players were already attached to the game, its hard to drop off and especially if you like the mechanics. Impression it is.

I have invested too much time in Genshin to switch over now. I know it has become boring and repetitive and Wuwa offers much needed improvements and a new game. But I don’t want to start the same genre (gacha anime) game all over again after wasting 2 years in Genshin ….

You will eventually find this out in WuWa too how their newer characters will keep getting better and make the game easier and more fun. You don’t have to but just like in Genshin, many people don’t use the starter characters anymore, they keep pulling for new ones. Then you see your favourite character coming after a year if you miss it this time.
