i honestly love it when they do that. actually implementing storytelling to change the aspect ratio. one of my favourite examples are the one with elysia's pv from honkai impact and lappland from arknights' il siracusano event pv

@@WindtormentThey are definitely taking inspiration from them since they both have war themes and soldiers becoming their enemy (like 86 soldiers becoming legions) as well as general geshulin's fighting 'til death philosophy. Goddamn I love this clash of philosophy since you cannot say that the other side is wrong due to their personality and experiences. I hope they delve deeper in this since I really love this type of theme. It's so tragic but people still tries cling to hope even if at the end of their journey is worse than death. Edit: typo

Jiyan truly one of those characters I thought was overhyped due to the design. Then gradually knew him through the story and did a 180 on my first impression. My guy deserves the love not just for his design but also for who he is. Such a goated character!
