I seriously don't understand this brain dead cult of "oh it not a document that why hitler is getting his cheek claps by gnome, the japan emperor is giving atomoic a french kiss and Stalin is giving the horse a stroke, and looks at here the american is riding tank barrel to give it excitement that how they defeat the japan, by ridding barrel HAH"

Ironically, it changed the meaning of the word "Molotov" entirely, at least in the English speaking world. Iirc, it meant something like "Hammer", as a blacksmith would use. Now, to the English speaking world, at least, it means flame.

Tbf Panzer Mark 2s, 3s and 4s were still basic in design in 41 and would have been filled with shells and explosives. So heat and sparks inside would be a death sentence even without a big explosion.

It's possible. From an extract of a British officer's time in Stalingrad, he would describe a 'hero' charging towards a tank holding nothing but a bottle, setting afire himself and the tank in the process.

Not really, the german tanks wouldn't have waited for the Infantry, there would have been Panzergrenadiere and Half tracks instead of normal infantry. And the Soviets are fighting too loyal. I'm sorry to say but at the beginning of the war many Soviet soldier instead capitulated or just walked to the germans because tgey weren't really fanatical, they didn't like Stalin and hoped the Germans would be better (which wasn't tze case but anyway). I' ve heard a story of a german soldier who had to lead 3 POWs back to his own lines and when he arrived there he had 120 POWs. One soldier with 120 POWs, all just walked over. But the uniforms and the Weapons are realistic, that's right.
