Chris to be able to beat people up backstage, u have to talk to Vince, he will give u a quest to assault someone backstage, after you’ve done that, you can attack anyone backstage. Hope this helps 😏😏

You can walk up to people and brawl with them by pressing square. (It doesn't necessarily have to say that instead of the "talk" option but you can still brawl by pressing square)

You are currently in a story line, that's why you can't brawl with anyone yet. You'll notice you're not in a story line when Tod Mullin says the same thing every week and you'll get random matches.

The battle royal started a new storyline. That's why Sheamus interrupted you as well. You're only not in a storyline when Todd tells you to look at the match card
