WWE 2K24 - 10 Missing matches from the 40 years of WrestleMania showcase

For todays video, I cover what matches should have been featured in the 40 years of WrestleMania showcase. Definitely a lot longer than I intended it to be but if you make it to the end, it's much love!
As I stated, there are errors in this video (attires, entrances, etc) as I didn't have all the required materials needed to make a complete replica of the matches displayed. There are some moments where you'll see superstars where different ring gear than what they originally wore for specific matches. That is because I was unable to find the appropriate attire from community creations. I also strayed away from using their base attire as it may have been something entirely different from what they wore back then (I.E Seth Rollins). So I tried to find an attire that fit the same vibe.
If any attire was downloaded from Community Creations, the creators are credited at the end of the video!

They should have done Rock vs Cena 2 at Wrestlemania 29 if they thought 28 would be repetitive considering 2k23 already did 28

@@jalen3318 I wouldn't, since the Firefly Funhouse Match was the only way you'd get all the versions of Bray Wyatt people wanted.

The fact in the final mode we have the following is mind boggling... 2 Undertaker Matches 1 Randy Orton Match 1 John Cena Match 0 Triple H Matches 0 Batista Matches. Seriously they couldn't have at the very LEAST add Cena vs Orton vs Triple H at WM24 JUST to give them more rep in the mode?

I definitely agree that it's mind-boggling. The Superstars you listed had such iconic matches at WrestleMania, so the fact that they're barely on there (or not even at all) is crazy to me.

@@Omega_925 Also, a Classic Rock & Hollywood Hogan are LITERALLY IN the game and they couldn't do their WM18 Match 😭 I gotta stop thinking about this mode, it's making me too bummed out...

Some honorable mentions for me: rock vs hogan wm 18, either brock vs kurt wm19 or even booker t vs triple h wm 19, randy vs taker wm 21, batista vs taker wm 23 or hbk vs cena wm 23, cena vs randy vs triple h wm 24

here's matches i would have loved to see in this game (using superstars that are in 2k24): 1. ultimate warrior vs randy savage - wrestlemania vii 2. shawn michaels vs bret hart - wrestlemania xii 3. the undertaker vs kane - wrestlemania xiv (feel like this one is better than their wrestlemania xx bout you showcased in the video) 4. steve austin vs shawn michaels - wrestlemania xiv 5. steve austin vs the rock - wrestlemania xv 6. the rock vs hollywood hogan - wrestlemania x8 (how in the bloody hell is this match not in the game?!) 7. the rock vs steve austin - wrestlemania xix 8. brock lesnar vs kurt angle - wrestlemania xix (since brock is already in the showcase) 9. the undertaker vs randy orton - wrestlemania 21 (this match should have definitely been in the game) 10. john cena vs jbl - wrestlemania 21 11. rey mysterio vs randy orton vs kurt angle - wrestlemania 22 12. the undertaker vs batista - wrestlemania 23 13. john cena vs shawn michaels - wrestlemania 23 14. randy orton vs john cena vs triple h - wrestlemania 24 15. john cena vs batista - wrestlemania xxvi 16. the undertaker vs shawn michaels - wrestlemania xxvi (should have both matches in the game since both are incredible) 17. the undertaker vs triple h - wrestlemania xxvii (one of the 3 taker vs hhh matches should have been in the showcase) 18. the undertaker vs triple h - wrestlemania xxviii (how is this one not in the game?!) 19. john cena vs the rock - wrestlemania 29 (since the first one is in 2k23) 20. seth rollins vs finn balor vs the miz - wrestlemania 34 (want at least one of the matches from 34 because i want that arena lmao) 21. charlotte flair vs asuka - wrestlemania 34 22. the undertaker vs aj styles - wrestlemania 36 23. cody rhodes vs seth rollins - wrestlemania 38 (would have rather had this match than owens vs steve austin tbh) 24. gunther vs sheamus vs drew mcintyre - wrestlemania 39 (this match would have been so much fun if it was in the game)

It's bullshit they didn't include every WrestleMania arena for this game considering they were able to pull it off for 30 years of WrestleMania in 2k14 10 years ago.

@@Omega_925 I'd like to think they didn't include every WrestleMania probably due to time constraints or whatever cause ya know with each newer gen of gaming the more time it takes fine tuning the details while back in the 360 era I didn't require so much time. What a shame.

@@TheRealChief613 i would have forgotten 2k for only putting 21 matches and leaving a lot of classics out of the showcase if they gave us all the arenas, or at the very least the ones that were in past 2ks like 31 / 32 / 33 etc...

They can't do undertaker vs kane at WrestleMania 20 because kane in not unlockable you have to buy him so if you have to purchase a character it won't be in showcase

this was just a typical move by 2k and visual concepts. And there's no excuse for this when 2k14 15 16 17 and 19, perfected. even the very horrific 2k20 had it easier and cinematics were spot on. That being said I do agree they should have had those and The boneyard match

Exactly. Like I loved the in-game cinematics. They would start the cutscenes off with them but then just transition to a real-life cutscene. I was extra disappointed. And yeah, I would have loved to have had the boneyard match on the showcase. But sadly, I believe that is just asking "too much".

@@Omega_925 honestly i don't think it is. Because if in 2018 was in the bray Wyatt compound on wwe 2k19 through career mode against zombie hhh and Bray Wyatt with a cutscene of setting the compound on fire, I don't think the boneyard match was too much. But at least WWE 2K24 Is a major step in the right direction. Showcase mode is trash these past games... But i do enjoy the game at least

@Uniquepersona13 Yeah. I understand. I definitely do agree that the game is stepping into the right direction overall. The showcase, however, was a big miss.
