The reason WWE went with this as the theme is because: WWE is trying to make SummerSlam go mainstream, and in order to do that, they needed someone mainstream. Demi just happens to be that.

I really like the song, you guys shouldn't take it that serious. The song has word summer in it and it's summer slam. Question WWE for being a PG product but using a song about lesbian/oral actions as their theme for their 2nd biggest show

This song is not bad but I don't know why WWE would use this for SummerSlam, it doesn't give the event a big fight feel.

i fangirled real hard because they put two of my fav things together, Demi & WWE, and even though I'm happy and the song is amazing, I feel like the song doesn't apply to Summerslam, I mean Demi has other great songs, even though the songs from Don't Forget and Here We Go Again are old they could've used those, those are amazing songs, for example, Got Dynamite would've been a good song.

Now it's a fine commercial song (a guilty pleasure for me) but it doesn't match wrestling. That's what I don't like about the song, it doesn't match the tone for SummerSlam. I get the point of having a pop song for SS (see GDFR from last year while Lights Go Out by Fozzy was also a theme for that show), but at least have a rock song as a second theme for the show.
