4 ай бұрынNo joke. The full version of this song. I received this file from someone who wants to remain anonymous. The file itself had the sound pitched down strangely, which i fixed here. Sadly the audio quality is not perfect.
A theme cover of "Man in the Box" used by Tommy Dreamer on the February 24th, 1997 episode of RAW and on occasion in ECW as well (never as an entrance theme tho). Made by The Masked Tones, a joke name The Slashtones gave themselves during the recording of the song's as the band line up was only made up once for the recording of Tommy Dreamer's and Taz's themes for the RAW episode. ECW and WWE made 3 different cover versions of "Man in the Box" for Dreamer. 1. The one in this video. Used on Raw in Feb. 1997 and in a video package at November to Remember 1997. 2. Another version also made by Harry Slash. It was Dreamer's theme at ECW One Night Stand 2005. 3. Another version, this time made by Jim Johnston, used during Dreamer's run in WWE's ECW. For some reason, on WWE Network and Peacock, Slash's second version is used to replace "Man in the Box" on ECW PPVs while Johnston's version is the replacement theme on the Hardcore TV and TNN episodes..

Correct, also fun fact. The one at ECW One Night Stand 2005 was also used in ECW, it played on some early episode of ECW on TNN during an Ad Segment with Joey Styles talking over.

memories. i remember seeing this on old wrestling theme sites like bman wwf themes when they could stay up for a while before getting deleted. though the theme i found back in 1999-early 00s was a shortened loop version that played until the 1:00 and loop back to 0:18

Tommy Dreamer did use it, but only on that episode of RAW when WWF and ECW had that brief cross-promotion with each other.

@@Chugga0921 Oh sorry, you didn't specife. I personally prefer the One Night Stand 2005 version of the theme but both versions are bangers even thought the 1997 version was clearly rushed. I think they didn't use it because it was too similar to Man In The Box.

apparently according to harry slash this was made on the day of the show basically on the spot along with the taz theme from the same episode of raw

Harry Slash has the original file on an old Mac computer that isn't accessible at this time. He is going to try and have his files salvaged at some point.
