Like Roman, "if we can continue to swerve the crowd, then we've done our job" keyword is job. Their job is to get a reaction out of fans, because at the end of the day, when they going behind guerilla, they are talking, laughing, giving each other props, because they were able to get your emotions out of you. Hook, Line, and Sinker.

I enjoyed it for what it was. Agreed it basically confirmed the Rock/HHH power struggle we all suspected. I would have liked more from Seth and Roman personally. Hearing more of their thoughts would have been intriguing. I also want something for the rest of mania too. How did they come to Sami/Gunther after the whole Brock thing. It satisfied one story but left me wanting for more about the rest of the card.

Triple H is a true cerebral assassin. Rock wanted Roman and Punk and Seth was the set main event for night 1, yet Triple H still had Cody win the Rumble. He was going to put him in that main event spot no matter what. Roman was seemingly involved in Triple H's plan as well. Roman buried Seth's title in that famous segment so bad that Cody going after Seth instead of him would be plain stupid. They knew it was better to keep the Rock for a whole year build and tell a deeper story with more possible matches. That's why he smiled when Cody pinned him. Their plan worked, and he was happy for Cody cause he had earned it. Netflix is around he corner, it makes no sense to just do two months Rock program when they can extend it past a year and get more views.

You do realize that the Rock has many, many, MANY more fans than the ones that booed him for that, right? Not to mention that even through all of that he was still getting as many cheers as boos, if not moreso. He did not have to pivot, that internet wrestling fan outrage never lasts. But he chose to listen and turn heel (and killed it once more). Apparently that wasn’t enough for certain fans though.. Either way, the fans that were legit mad at him is a blip compared to the mainstream audiences that are fans of his (most of which don’t even watch wrestling). Wrestling stopped playing a role in his success in Hollywood about 20 plus years ago.

This was the Rock and his ego on full display. And he did NOT come up with the "final boss" concept/tag line. I forget what streamer/podcast it came from, but the host said it in passing very casually and it went viral. Then WWE began using it. So more of the Rock using those acting skills while he lies to the camera.

when i fist watched the "doc" i was furious of the Vince stink that dripped from the rock when he justified inserting himself into the title picture. rock v roman = big match, everyone wanted it, but he moved the little guy out of the way, Cody who represented the people in favour of the big man with the big money who the boss likes, which is worse now because he is the boss, and in turn tarnishing the reaction to rock v roman. i was so mad how he spun this, expecting that it was just gonna go the way he wants now he's the boss. but... triple h still booking Cody to win, as well as telling Cody before the match this information giving him the ammo to make any decision he wanted too right after that match, I think triple h engineered this quitely, he knew it was going to be a mess but he knew it could be a mess with the outcome which he wants. definitely not for us or the fans, but I think genuinely because rock being on the board and everything at the start of the year pissed him so bad... let's see what happens ahahah

Don't be silly ya'll. Roman was THERE. Why would Roman be there if there wasn't any reason for it? No need for that shot or to show roman and Heyman reacting. It's obvious that there was chaos, but it's also obvious that people were making sure that the pieces were in place to go with plan A, if possible - even though we ended up at plan G or whatever by WM40.

When did so many internet wrestling fans become so delusional that they think the Rock isn’t one of the most popular people on the planet? Like, what bubble are people living in here? He doesn’t have to do anything, his level of success will NEVER be achieved by another wrestler. He doesn’t have to think anything about people liking him, they already do. Even through all that internet hate, the crowds were STILL, at the very least, 50/50 during those shows. He still elicited more cheers on average than boos, and that’s not even considering the fact that those crowds represent a tiny fraction of the fans that he actually has due to his MASSIVE success in Hollywood.

If you ever need confirmation, this is the Rock show. His ego will light up the entire world at this point. Anyway, from a personal point of view, the moment I find that he is making himself the main star of everything I will stop watching regularly. It is easy for me. No one seems to like Sidgwick.. he doesn't seem to like WWE. And he apparently owns the company or you all definitely would have gotten rid of him by now. Fair compromise... keep him on exclusively AEW videos. Unless the AEW fans don't like him either... seems like the solution. People come to this channel for entertainment. Its why everyone loves Simon. Notice how no one loves Sidgwick? He's the opposite of entertaining.

It's almost if they are.....the babyface and heel of WCW?! Or at least that's what I think they were trying to go for. What they don't get is that a good heel is not one that makes you change channel right off the bat. Moreover, WCS *never* check their comment section. They have never replied to any comments made whatsoever. They don't care what we like and what we dont. They focus on clickbaity titles and that's about it.

It seems more like WWE fans on this channel want to remain in a bubble. He has preferences but he goes as hard after AEW as he does WWE. If you want to just have people ohhh and ahhh to the show you just watched there are enough Podcasts that do that.
