When wrestlen was good to watch on tv and the games where good also period

this takes me back i dont care for wrestling but the old games were amazing!

This was such a mindblowing roster compared to any WWF game before it. I was obsessed with this game from day one. The one thing I really remember bothering me about the roster right off the bat was how outdated Too Cool was. They debuted two months before Chris Jericho debuted in WWF and like five months before this game came out. When you use Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor in a tag match, they come out as "Too Cool", but still in the "Too Much" gimmick. They had plenty of time to change that. Mean Street Posse really should have been in the game too, and I would have liked to see Chaz' valet Marianna. Luna should have been with Gangrel. WCW/nWo Revenge wasn't missing any managers or valets.. The Dudley Boyz and Kurt Angle joined the WWF slightly too late to make the roster cut unfortunately, it would have been great if they were in the game as well. No Mercy fixed much of that, but it was a long wait for that game to come out.

If I recall there were 3 different "HO" characters to choose from. and if you clone Chaz you can switch his trunks with Thrasher's outfit to create Chaz's other gimmick: "Mosh"

I wished Alot of these would've been on No Mercy. Some of these look better on WM2000 than they did on No Mercy too. Chyna looks 10xs better to me.

For Shawn Michaels, you must make it to WrestleMania in Road to WrestleMania and either win or defend the WWF Championship and HBK will come out and challenge you. If you win, he will be unlocked. For Dude Love, in RTWM, you must win the King of the Ring tournament and by doing that, you will get a title shot at SummerSlam. And if you win, Dude Love will challenge you, and that will unlock Dude Love.

When this game came out it was the best wrestling game ever. But then No Mercy came out a year later and took its place.

Can someone make a mod that combines the WCW NWO Revenge and Wrestlemania 2000 rosters since the game is running on the same engine.

One of the best games of all time, got so much use out of this when it first came out, Jeff Hardy and D'Lo Brown were some of my favorites to play with, loved the Swanton and frog splash from the top rope or The Hardyz double splash and leg drop from the top. Classic

@Gasmoxia The N64 game may have had infeiror graphics and sound compared to the Smackdown games on the PSX, but the gameplay, charm and CAW were a lot better. Compared to other PSX wrestling games like the awful WCW Nitro and Thunder, and Backstage assault, the N64 games had better character animations as well

How on earth was the cage match impossible to win? It's very easy, you need to climb it when your meter reads "special" and then it's a piece of cake. The cage match in this game was better than No Mercy. I always liked the look of the old barred Steel Cage as opposed to the chain link cage they've used the last 15 years.

Holy crap I have all the characters besides Ho but I looked on a website that tells you all the unlockables but she wasn't on there and I cloned Cyna and you can change her face and attire to look like women that you don't see anywhere else in the game and that's the only way that you can make Ho.
