I love how honest Hugh Grant is. Most actors are too worried about tanking their careers to give an honest answer. Pretty damn sure Hugh Grant doesn't give a fuck about tanking his career or what anyone thinks of him.

@@holobenthic I think he also didn't want to ruin career of any actresses not only his. Hugh has a crude sense of humor. He made fun about other people's appearance, saying Julia Robert's mouth was too big, etc. His taste of humor is like a high school jock's. That kind of humor is hardly sit well for women (that's why Chris Rock got slapped). But Hugh would never insults other people's body of work. Saying he didn't want to work with someone would make people questioning that person's capability.

@@rumblefish9 Yes, they stayed together for five years after, but it was strained, because he was caught cheating, getting a BJ, by a prostitute by the name "Divine Brown" he even laughed about it in court, because he was embarrassed that he got caught. He cheated on her, multiple times. That was the cause. Lol.

@@starynightugh6951 if it was strained, why still stay together for 5 years? Why draw it out? That reasoning would have made sense if they stayed together for a year, not 5 years. It doesn't make sense and esp considering they are still close now. Also, apart from the Divine Brown incident, Hurley said he was loyal to her the whole 13 years they were together. The relationship just fizzled out. It happens.

Its not Drew because she had him on her show and the stories Drew told suggest they have been friends. he was pissed at her for a time but it didn't last. They also talked about the time they bumped into each other at a restaurant and she started kissing him.

Denise Noles Maybe it's just that he was older than me I'm 37, I know many women 10 years older than myself that would go weak in the knees, so to speak over him, when I was a teenager and young adult. I guess it's like the old saying goes "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" :)

Yeah, I'm a guy so I can't say for sure but my guess would be its a combination of his "charm" or charisma as you say, his accent which I think just turns women on, and the fact that he's not an UGLY guy.
