@mads 818 It was subtle. First it's his general tone when they are brought up, like he's almost annoyed people assume he met them. Next when asked if he's been "knighted" he's doesn't just say no, he quickly ads in that even if offered he "wouldn't" 04:22. Taken as a whole there is definitely an implication he's not interested in associating with the Royals at all.

@@whatevs00 not necessarily that he wouldn’t accept it either, but that he may not think he’s deserving of the Order yet, most British actors that have been given order of the British empress which isn’t a knighthood but still a title have been working for 40-50 years,

@@wpaunan If I had to guess, and I do, it's probably because he's an atheist (not guessing about that part, he's stated that openly before), and the entire "knighthood" thing is firmly rooted in divine right concepts of nobility being literally chosen by god. And he probably (like me) finds the whole "royal family" and all that bullshit, rather silly, and wants nothing to do with it.

The very last part Evan asked about being knighted and he said "Nope" and almost sounded like he started to say "and wouldn't".

If I maybe so rude... As in, Across the Universe did it for me. Acting, singing, her presence on film the was just bliss. Watch and see. She & others made Westworld what it is.. maybe, quite, confusing for some, but, for some, very entertaining. Thx ERW. She is darling and daring in a cast setting.

I'm thinking mainly about Queen Elizabeth I and her relationship with John Dee on down through the royals of the 19th and 20th centuries (e.g., Queen Victoria participating in séamces to contact Prince Albert, Princess Diana and her astrologer, etc.).

Can someone please tell the staff member who screams in every video to move away from the mike. Every video has the same yelling regardless of how long the show was taped. Someone needs to stop being the hype guy for the show, the show is good enough without the planted yelling.

There was a lot of animosity toward the Potter series from church goers. As I was buying a new release, years ago, for our son, for Christmas, the teller was ranting about how evil these books were. Being inextricably tied to the Church of England may have had an impact on DR not meeting the RF. Not that it’s any reasonable excuse but then again neither we’re the ramblings of the cashier at the book store.
