This sound track is so fucking beautiful! No lie, I can't fall asleep without this playing, don't even know why but it just makes me feel so at peace.... Funny story though, I took this, some of my other warfare sleep tracks, and my speaker with me to a recent summer camp. The first track was my heavy rain and distant WWI artillery, counselor and my bunk mates thought it was just thunder so they thought it was cool and told me to keep it on all night. First hour in, I'm not asleep yet, as I don't usually fall asleep until the second track plays (2nd hour) which is my "all hell break loose" track, pretty much everyone except me is asleep in the room and all of a sudden; *"RATTAT RATTATTATAT, BOOM, RATATAT"* woke everyone in the room and they were like, wtf... Long story short, from then on I had to keep the speaker on low and next to my bunk. Anyways, thanks for the badass track to fall asleep to.

Love to hear the impact of heavy shells in the far distance. This reminds me of a cold night, in the Ardenne (Battle of the Bulge), were the battle is raging. At some moments, you can even hear shells flying trough the air when fired. I recognize the sound, when i was in army, at army training in Germany. They fired life rounds.

When I visited Germany as a Tourist, back in 2012, we accidentally were staying right next to the Bundeswehrs biggest training ranges, and could hear explosions nearby first thing in the morning, when a family member of mine told the staff of the park that we can hear explosions going off nearby he got told in the best German accent '' Yes, we know this'' lol I never laughed so much.. and remember it till this day, and will say this saying, when ever somebody mentions something really obvious from this point on wards but hearing that so close does make you think about the realities of War, and what it could be like, by the sounds of it the Germans are preparing for any eventuality and are Well Prepared.

It gets boring just seeing the same germans over and over and then it doesn't help with "news" articles over here demonising the hobby, show pictures of really fat guys in the Black SS uniforms. The public perception of the hobby is that its full of fat neo nazis. Doesn't help either when theres idiots in SS stuff telling people the SS weren't that bad and other SS groups not even teaching the history, just being rude to the public and not letting them see their display, whats the point being there other than to dress up as a german and not get demonised by everyone around you...no wonder the hobby is dying, at least here

by far the best in terms of realism so far. i said the same about one yesterday that was meant to be in Berlin, with lots of shouting in german , but this one has a very believable cadence to it. I am dying to hear someone do a night time one on the eastern front , that has the sound of Ivan's biplanes aka "sewing machines" ,that were flown by women and that had more psychological impact that tactical, although a grenade from the sky landing on ones head doesnt need to detonate to be effective

Allow me to get creative with the sounds and the three armoured vehicles (which I recognize as Sd.Kfz 251's, aka Half Track). And I'm trying to stay historically accurate, but I'm also being creative. (starts at 0:00 ) September 22nd, 1943 (inner monologues) "The wind was blowing calmly through the tall grasses and the trees. My comrades and I, of the 10th Panzergrenadier Division, have been ordered to hold this point until called upon. We hear naught but the silence. No sound of birds or beasts but out own breathing and dimmed chatter. In the far distance we can hear the war raging on; the rattling of machine guns, the deep thumping of artillery pieces firing and the rumbling of the shells exploding. The smoke is the only other indication of where the fight is. Other than that, it is strangely peaceful. The wind is merely blowing calmly through the tall grasses and trees. And me and my comrades? I think we all quietly pray the war will be over soon."

Fritz: Hans wake up, it's not the sleeping song. Hans: Let me sleep, it's still far away, we can relax a bit. Officer: ARTILLERY! GET DOWN! Fritz: **Ran to a house** Hans: **Yawns and sleep under tallgrass and unfortified trench** **Artillery hits Fritz's house** Hans: Told you.
