WWII Tube Restoration

4 жыл бұрын

In this video, I will show full restoration of the German Waffen-SS Helmet M40 size 64 from the World War II. This helmet has been in the ground for 75 years.
No propaganda and extremism. Only history!
The demonstration of Nazi symbols in my videos is not propaganda of fascism, Nazism, etc. They are demonstrated exclusively for historical and scientific purposes.
Thanks for viewing!

I wouldn’t say these helmets are “small things”. Quite a huge part of history really. Individual people had their own assigned helmet that they used everyday to protect themselves from shrapnel and to use as bowls to eat out of. Men died and risked their lives in these helmets. Millions of them. World War II is the biggest event of mankind. These helmets aren’t small things. Big parts of history. If these WWII helmets could talk the stories would be incredible

Well, the uniforms is used for ceremonial purposes only, not in battle. Egyptian army also used German style helmets too. The only Germans today still wear such helmets are firemen - white painted helmets.

Well, I'm from Chile and yes, during the last years of 1800 and the start of the 1900s our army hired Coronel Emilo Korner Henze, he was the person selected to teach our troops the Prussian formation, since there we use the German outfits and tactics. Every year during September 19 our army do a military parade where we show our "military strength" and also show our story, there we have an special regiment of soldiers who wears the old Prussian uniform and then the German army (similar to the Wehrmacht) uniform, they also have a band playing Preußen Gloria while they March.

This is the best helmet design in history. The us army actually started wearing helmets in the 80s that looked way to similar to this helmet so they had to re-design it so it wouldn’t look like the German helmet

Well my grandpa once said to me “not all Germans are bad one time I was white my platoon and I got lost and 1 German soldier said to my grandpa “Halt!” My grandpa looked at the German soldier, the German soldier spoke a little bit of English and said “mine field” he pointed at the sign and my grandpa walked to the German soldier and they chat a little bit (my grandpa can speak German) and my grandpa offered the German soldier with an MRE and the German soldier also took out his MRE and my grandpa said let’s eat I guess... So they ate there MRE and they heard both of there allies and axis calling for them and they once more looked at each other and both said goodbye they both ran towards back to there platoons.”

Very good work! What I think is a shame, is that so many people say "The Bad Germans" or "The Bad Nazi Socialists"... But it was a World War... Nothing was fair at all... Regardless of whether from the side of the Wehrmacht aka Axis powers (Achsenmächte) or from the side of the Allies. So many people who didn't want to fight, whether Germany, America or anywhere else ... There were so many people who didn't want to fight, but they had to do it ... I would like (especially with such a video where the story is the main part) that a little more thought is put into it before you write something bad about the symbols under such a video ... Sure, here in Germany this is all a forbidden symbol (which I personally find a shame because it is part of our story). However, you don't have to insult all Germans just because they come from Germany ... (I writed some parts with google translate, so if you find mistakes or words which don't make sense in the order how they are there: I'm sorry :D) Otherwise I enjoyed the work very much! Greetings from Germany!

Execution of criminal orders does not deprive them of responsibility for them, 1,7931600 civilians died only in the Soviet Union. Nobody wanted to fight, but they fought, killed and tortured ... just war. Maybe those events are not related to today's Germans, but they were related to your grandfathers and great-grandfathers. Trying to belittle their guilt is wrong
@Balls1335
@Balls1335 3 жыл бұрын
@@lekmuf Most German soldiers were conscripts and young men who didn't want to fight and just wanted to feed their families. The Schutzstaffel were the ones to blame for their numerous atrocities. Not the soldiers in general.
