He is smiling because he still trying to act tough. The problem though is that his behavior and the life he lead makes him the weakest person in the court room. Tough is actually being able to control your emotions and not effectively ruin your life or the life of anyone elses intentionally. Being tough means to win at life with all the obstacles put in your way. Uplift your family and community. Learn and grow as a person and never allow someone to upset you to the point you end up behind bars, missing out on all the beauty that can be found in the world. That's tough. Not laughing about doing something that got you put in prison for the rest of your life.

1:21 Why would the Michigan courts allow a 3rd time habitual offender the freedom to be on the streets to commit a fourth? that's just crazy. When the judge gives his sentencing there is suppose to be no one talking or cheerleading. The court room isn't a pep rally. My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and families hurt by this criminal

Your thoughts go out to the family of the victim yet you criticize them for cheering after the judge read off the killers sentence? You say nothing about how the murderer is smiling, smirking & laughing and shit talking/yelling to the victims family as he's being escorted out of the courtroom?🤔 Okay then. Had I been part of the family I too would've clapped along with the others for the sentence he finally was given. You questioned it yourself about how the Michigan courts allowed a 3rd time offender his freedom to offend again a 4th time. So put yourself in that family's shoes for a minute. I imagine just as you questioned the courts allowing him to offend again, that the family probably was doing the same & praying that he did not get a light sentence as he had 3 times previously. So when the judge read off his punishment of a minimum of 70yrs work a max of 100yrs.. I think you might've been grateful, thankful and applauded the judge too. My family and our close friends have been in almost the same situation, however the killer was a 1st time killer, with no previous criminal history. Yet he took the life of a 13yr child. The judge gave him a sentence of only 13yrs. That time will be up late next year. As he had accumulated 2 years of time served.. Leaving him to serve only an additional 10yrs. Talk about disappointment, we were all shocked, but afterwards, the DA told us that he would serve the entire time, there would be no good time, no chance of parole. We were still disappointed to say the least. So, I'm happy that this family got justice for their family member. I'm happy the judge finally laid down the law on that killer. No offense intended, in my reply to your comment.. But I just had to say something. Have a good night.
