Mullin has such sneaky speed. He seems like he’s slower but he has incredible burst when needed. Palmer and Mullin are a ton of fun to watch and the production from midfield in general has been much better this year.

For future viewers looking back in the archive, the Wednesday following this game the Season 1 finale of the “Welcome to Wrexham” series has just aired. I am a new American viewer in tears. I started following the team the night the first episodes aired. I knew that the team was still in the National League, but that didn’t mean that it still hurt. But this season man. This season has been an absolute joy to follow. The ups, the downs, the wins, the losses. Like Ryan Reynolds has said. We’ve got to get out of this League. This team, this club, this town is just too good for it.

Matthew McConaughey was a guest on on yesterday's local TV Broadcast of our last Austin FC match of the "regular" season when he mentioned..."I've been talking to Ryan about arranging a friendly with Wrexham AFC and Austin FC...etc." Since he's one of the owners of Austin FC and knows Ryan from his Hollywood connections you have to take this seriously. How would this even work? When would Wrexham even be able to host a friendly during the MLS offseason? Would Wrexham want to come to Austin in the February MLS pre-season? Or perhaps August during the Wrexham preseason?

Damn good game! Wrexham keeps scoring goals like that and they’ll be top of the table again in no time.

It's a good advert for how good the football league pyramid really is that a team with as much momentum and backing as Wrexham, are still not finding it easy to get promoted from the National League. Nobody has a divine right to achieve promotion, it is one big slog and good football being played. I hope for Welsh football Wrexham can go up , who knows how far they can go. Fairplay to the owners, they have realised the potential of the unique identitiy of a Welsh club in the "English" league pyramid. Previous Cardiff City owners tried to tap into this but failed.

Once Wrexham get out of this league they'll be hard to stop. Very few clubs will be at a level around Wrexham while also having the spending power to sign Wrexham's players, the top League One and Championship clubs probably won't be convinced their players are what they need particularly the ones past their mid-20s, so the club is not in serious danger of having it's talent poached right now. Wrexham will probably blow right through League Two once they're in it, and give 2 thirds of League One a run for their money too, while also being able to outmuscle them in the market. They are really bringing it all together. They remind me of Luton a few years ago.

What a 12 goal thriller, only in the lower league you can see this kind of crazy score lines. Obviously, both clubs need to improve their defenses.

The like to have solid foundations build up to the top. Yes they want a quick return for their buck. But players have got to be stronger mentally. I hope it goes well for you be good to see ya back.

Glad Wrexham were able to get the 3 points in spite of extremely suspect defending. I know it is just National League level, but Howard's goal keeping was atrocious. These kind of let offs make me nervous as Wrexham is trying to push for the top of the table and promotion. If they have to rely on winning the playoff to go up, this kind of shaky performance could keep them down in the National for another campaign, which I think all fans agree would be tragic.

Man guys work on your defensive play. When you get higher up you cant afford to let in the goals
