About a zillion years ago (it would have been about 1968) I found I had a cracked piston in my Velocette Viper engine. It cost me UK£7 for a new piston, which was a weeks wages for me as a second year toolmaking apprentice. With the new piston fitted I decided to smash the old piston, and took to it with a big hammer, but that bastard thing refused to break.

First beating up that block looked like something had to come out for a while, then how joy & hope & fearfull he was before bringing the truck out and finally when the Truck did what it was supposed to. I remember him mentioning that he didnt allways feel like he fit too well into this world but over the episoded he has grown onto me and i wish him well. And as a clueless Amateur his Truck seems like an ambitious project but if it all comes together it will be a mean Machine.

I had same issues the other weekend I went out with my truck too. Wasn't on the brake long enough to get turbo lit. But when I figured it out it was way more mean. But that's what it's about. Testing to figure it out.
