I met Jen, and she was unbelievably kind. She signed a Roberto Bolaño book for my sister and I. I lost my sister 2 years ago, but this show was the last high point of her life. Thank you Wye Oak for that. Truly, with all of my heart, thank you.

There's this point in the song, about 2:40 minutes in, where after all this emotional build-up the song is suddenly hanging on for dear life, for a few seconds it's not clear if it completely disintegrates or if it somehow finds its way to a miraculous, glorious ending. These are the moments in music I live for. Thank you for this one.

Essa música me acompanha desde então, principalmente nas horas difíceis, já vão fazer 10 anos... Eu era só um garoto quando a ouvi e me emocionei e chorei com ela, a 10 anos atrás... Com 15 anos... Que idade louca foi aquela... Quantas histórias, marcas, aprendizados, saudades... A vida é um sopro, gente. Vamos amar mais, perdoar mais, dar mais carinho... One of my top songs of all time. I listened to 5 different recordings in a row last night and got goosebumps on all of them, I can't think of a single other song in all of history that does that, not even Kate Bush. I didn't know these songs were being revisited with new videos - I had to laugh when I realized that the video was new, *solely* from noticing Jenn's Sylvan Esso tattoo

@@Indyawillis85would it have been easier if rick gave Shane and Daryl a bit of leighway to torture that puke. They initiate war later and simply could not afford the lowered moral from rick killing his sergeant or loss of strength-of-force even if it was only two or three fighters. At the end of the day I always thought Shane could do it all better and until he wastes those two nomads in the bar, you don't see rick actually exercise the type of vigilance necessary when you can be killed for your shoes. Thanks for reading, I know I don't stand alone on this opinion.
