Returned player here: I joined all the way back in 2013/2014 until around 2016 or so I suppose. Recently I got interested again in MC and started scouting some new interesting servers, and saw Wynn was still alive and THRIVING. For all those considering returning: DON'T EXPECT THE SAME THINGS & NOSTALGIA. They have done some INCREDIBLE improvements and added crazy updates, it is no way the same server you played on 'back in the day'. It is time to make new memories to build on top of those you have, not replace them. From the bottom of my goddamn heart, give them a shot and let them surprise you, I'm so hooked again and I consider myself insanely lucky I get the opportunity to start over. I have a few high level characters, but I'm SO excited I started at 0 with a new class to experience the server from the top. (Though, the veteran tag, the items that are collectibles now, the sheer advantage I have with the money and items I have from back then are super neat bonuses for a newbie like me).

To anybody new and tempted to try, seriously do so. I used to play this server all the time and I NEVER found a Minecraft MMORPG server that could top it. The quality is top notch and you won’t regret trying. Seriously great work Wynncraft team, you had a large part of my childhood.

This server is special. Almost every server is survivsl, or have different modalities. Servers like Wynncraft are mod Servers, generally based on something, like Pixelmon Servers. Wynncraft doesnt. A mod-less server with beautiful things... is something you dont see everyday.

Everyone are saying that they should make wynncraft outside of minecraft. I disagree. I feel like it would lose its charm. I really like the cutscenes and the graphic they made here. I dont think i would play if it was outside minecraft.

I'm just dropping by to give a review of the server. I will begin by saying that it is just as good as it is shown in the trailer. There are four main reasons why i love Wynncraft. 1) The community and the subcommunities. The general community is hugely welcome and there is very little toxicity. The type of server this is means that hacking isn't really a thing. Even better, there are tons of subcommunities for things like class builds, lore, grinding, and so much more! The community isn't too big so you won't feel in over your head, but its big enough that there are enough people to organise events like my one (the Great Lore Hunt) which was a great success! 2) How immersive the world is. The world of Wynncraft is amazing. There's so many locations, and each one has been built with incredible care. What I love is that if you wander off into a corner of the map, you can just get lost exploring. there's also extensive lore and storyline, something I am particularly interested in! Whether I'm trekking through the jungle or running from wolves in Nesaak forest, I am having the time of my life. 3) Extensive grinding is optional. To progress, you will have to do a bit of grinding, but the really long grinds (crafting items) are completely optional and you only do them if you want personalised gear. I enjoy the balance between grinding, quests, and dungeons. Dungeons don't even feel like a grind because they are all amazing (excluding Lost Sanctuary). 4) It's all so real in a very fantasy way. There's more economy than on dedicated economy servers, its not P2W, and you feel like you are living in a real world. Wynncraft is truly amazing. Oh screw it, there's more reasons! 5) Updates are really good. they aren't the most frequent, but they often add whole new regions and are full of content. You can tell that the GMs, builders, and everyone involved, make such an effort. What's even better is that the community don't pressure the devs, they are really patient and are just so nice about everything. 6) Christmas is actually really fun on Wynncraft. Its the time of year when I play the most, and its so fun to go to the Wynnter fair and play minigames, as well as playing Pig Puck. 7) The guild community is great. There isn't any actual PvP, its all PvE, so people aren't toxic for the most part. Instead you battle mobs which the opponent has defended with, and its so satisfying to gain control over the map. 8) You can play it how you want. That's why I love Wynn. You can be an explorer, a theorist (that's me!), a grinder, a quester, or anything else. I love Wynncraft, so so much. I can't say anything else.

I found Wynncraft in late 2017 through Grian's video, the server was in the Corkus update at that time. I chose Assassin, and so it begun. I played, until the game got stuck in the quest A Sandy Scandal, and my class was softlocked. I left the game, looked back a few times, tried Mage, but really didn't play that much. Until... Spring 2019. That's when I started to properly play Wynn all the time. I deleted everything in my bank, expect for the powders, deleted all my classes, and started, once again, Wynncraft from ground up, with Assassin. And after that, I've basicly been playing the game nonstop for a year now. I once and then had 1-2 week breaks, once a month long break, but after Spring 2019, I've really never stopped playing the game. It's that great. Even if you get bored for a bit, the game pulls you right back. I've had tons of fun and exciting moments with the game, all the way from finding secret lore to battling against demons. Wynncraft is a game where there's always something new to discover, the lore is complicated and deep (even though it is a bit messy at some times). Some moments are made so well, you wouldn't believe it was possible inside Minecraft. There are completely custom animated NPCs in cutscenes, for example there's a cutscene where two characters have an epic spell battle in front of a fortress, and in an endgame quest you run through a war scene in a volcanic area, with dozens of custom animated NPCs all around you, casting spells, blowing holes in the ground, killing each other, while you fight through it all in order to reach an altar in the middle to stop a demon from being summoned.

I've never seen this server before. That's why I'm crying.

I remember when i first heard of Llevigard and I traveled through the sea on my boat, and saw things that i never saw before. Then i saw it, the big gate. And now im crying.

Me: Hey you there? Old Friend: Yeah, I’m here Me: It’s been 4 years since we played Wynncraft Me: Oh yeah I forgot, speaking of Wynncraft, do you wanna play it Old friend: Yeah man I’m down.

Honestly, this is a really good server. The lore is dense, the combat and gear is fun to use, and the attention to detail on the builds is astounding. There’s a whole bunch of cool looking structures that I haven’t seen yet, I should really come back sometime and finish the questline.

I love Minecraft community, Not the toxic one. But the one that actually love the game and put effort into it for people to experience!

Does anyone remember when Corkus was an April 1st joke? When professions weren't a thing (crafting and harvesting)? When Gavel wasn't a thing? When bob wandered around the spawn of Ragni? So much nostalgia, great content, and hopes for even more content in the future, especially with the Silent Expanse in beta testing.

This server is so underrated, one of the best RPG games I've ever played.

Wow. I remember playing this server when I was so much younger and the server has advanced so much, it’s like it’s a completely different server from what I remember. The people behind this server are truly amazing. The fact that they are volunteers make it even more so.

You guys single handedly made the single beat minecraft server ever. When i was smaller i always wanted to play an mmorpg, but didnt know any. Thats when i found your server. I immediately fell in love with the lore, gameplay, and the fact that someone made an actual mmorpg inside my favourite game. Me and my brother played the whole summer vacation, and had a blast. I still play from time to time. Thank you guys for the amazing experiences!

Low key made me tear up. I played wynncraft a a LOT in summer of 2014 (looked up my stats today, about 200 hrs played, total level 211) I revisited it about 2 years ago and spent a good amount of time reminiscing. it will always be one of my favorite things that exists within Minecraft. Sadly I don’t play anymore, I find it difficult to play since to level up on my high level accounts I have to do a bunch of low level quests, but on a new save I have to go through 30+ quests I’ve already done before. I highly recommend everyone tries it at least once, it completely changes your ideas of what can be done through the limits of Minecraft. I have so many great memories from this server.

I remember the first time I saw this on Grian's hermitcraft video when (I didn't know this at the time) the SE update came out, slowly I started watching Tuartis' series and eventually actually started playing, now I'm lvl 91 and constantly irritated by several quests being glitched and CIB being a pretty boring dungeon, but I still cannot be more greatful to the CT for the amazing work they've put into it. When I first saw this trailer I had absolutely no idea what these places were, nor how awesome some of the bosses were, but now watching almost exactly one year after I started playing being able to recognize the Tower of Ascension and Death's Realm and the Corrupter of Worlds is truly incredible.

I was wondering why there were 2000+ people on the server now compared to what I've seen before. Usually ~700. This explains why! Nice job.

it's the first mmorpg ive ever earnestly tried playing! it was a bad idea tho cause now triple a mmorpgs are ruined for me. it's not just the fact that it's amazing and fun and gorgeous. it's the vibes too. you can feel all the love and care that goes into this from the team to make an awesome gameplay experience for people. you cant replicate that.

Four years later, and this trailer is still better than most game trailers I've seen to date lmao~

As a person who joined in 2013, literally after CraftedMovie's first trailer was published, played religiously for 3 years, then took a 4 year break in 2016 until this week, I can confirm that this server aged like wine and is now better than ever. Solid 10/10 server, I highly recommend everyone, especially veterans who quit pre-gavel (in late 2015) should try it out. And you know the best part? Unlike many other MMORPGs, you have access to the whole game, and suffer no nerfs from not having a rank. The rank-exclusive classes are re-skins of the basic ones, buying ranks and other stuff bring nothing but cosmetics. Also, there is little to no (battle) XP grinding. While I haven't played through even close to the entire game yet (Only lvl 40-ish on my new character) I have not needed to stand in one place and kill mobs for XP to level up because of a lack of quests yet. Just XP from killing mobs on the way to quests + Quests themselves in more than enough, not to mention the dungeons you can go through... I unfortunately can't say the same for getting crafting XP, but that isn't really something that you're required to do (afaik).

Oh sure, when you guys use shaders it looks great but when *I* use Shaders the sun reflects of the stone walls into my eyes and everything becomes pitch black at night.

I remember the old days, no texturpack, no good trading, simple quests, trolling, staff messaging you when you donated... ugh i miss it, but this gives place for new memories too!

I hope they make a full length updated version of this trailer for 2.0

Me personally I dont play MC anymore nowadays, but I remember back in the day I used to play both MC and WoW and me and a couple friends tried to make like a little Online RPG but everything was so massive that we ended up quitting the project. And 6 years of making with 200 ppl? Jeez, I cant even imagine. And as I already said, just hope this server pops off and works well for all of you :)
