Excellent compilation with a rich range of railway companies and places in all parts of Japan. Thank you for sharing! Excuse me the question, but what train is it at 7:00? It seems like Shimo-Kitazawa on the Odakyu Line before its underground construction but I don't recognize that left one.

Yes Shimo-Kitazawa in 2009 (good memory) with a JR 371 serie 'Asagiri'.

Loving all these Japanese train videos I'm finding, so want to go see all of these. Can someone please tell me at 3:03 where is that with all the snow? I really want to see that, plus my girlfriend wants to see lots of snow :)

At 3:03 Aomori pref. in the North Tôhoku in february. Every year a lot of snow !

+Wayne Tang It is called Akita Shinkansen between Morioka and Akita. The train shared with normal shinkan with speeds about the same as limited express train. There is another one, the Yamagata Shinkansen between Fukushima and Shijo. In japan they call these type of Shinkansen as Mini-Shinkanen.
