This episode reminds me of one of those old Monty Python shows. If you ever want to do a comedy real of bloopers just take this episode and you’ve got all you need. That said the charisma between the two of you is top-notch and even with the bloopers, you have each other‘s backs and that is what makes this show so enjoyable to watch.

Richard, for Show and Tell next week, I’d like to see your 1:100 Doom 1 that I hope you’re getting. The cover looks great. You want that on your wall. You need that on your wall. Love the show.

Yes, Polywatch is an excellent product for removing scuffs. It's what they use to clean scuffs from a watch crystal.

"The Born Losers" was also the title of the 1967 film that gave us Tom Laughlin's Billy Jack character. Remember when "Billy Jack" and its sequels were a thing?

Wowsers on that Real Ghostbusters! I'm amazed that they sealed that with a metal button/badge attached.

Polywatch is a good way to get the scuff marks out!

That Eclipso comic with the purple plastic jewel was the bane of retailers' existence: the jewel left an imprint on the back cover of the comic on top. I'm still waiting for the conclusion to Star Hunters. I don't know how I'd go reading it now but as kid I really liked the title. MTU #137 is one of my favourite issues of the series now slightly tainted after John's "Aunt May has a rockin' bod" comment. Stalker, Claw The Unconquered and Beowulf are all fun; at least Claw (another Michelinie book) lasted until #12. The first two issues of the Marvel UK title "Fury" came with a free gift in the form of a small plastic model kit to assemble. I wonder how CGC would assess those comics - not including the kit in the submission means the issue is incomplete, including it means the comic cannot be slabbed.

Did I hear in one show that John doesn’t like Curt Swan’s art? I love it and I think it holds up well. I would love to have OA from Curt Swan. I remember as a kid I would try to copy his Superman when I was practicing my mediocre drawing skills. For some reason, it reminded me of George Reeves as Superman.

I wonder what there's more of: John Tyler Christopher's negative space covers (which I liked until they were over done), or JTC'S Star Wars action figure covers (which I liked until they were over done)?

Hey what’s up this is Bob in Connecticut yes, a lot of the books have stabilized. I can see X-Men taking off like a rocket again.. X-Men. 1 7.0 just sold for $40,000 on eBay that’s not bad I have a copy the same condition I bought it many years ago for only $300.. right now. It’s a great time to try to get a high-grade copy of fantastic four 48 because we all know Galactus and the Silver surfer and Shalla Ball they will be in the new fantastic four movie. I got lucky on that also because I still have my 9.6. I only paid $3600 on eBay.

According to a late seventies Marvel Bullpen Bulletins, Michelinie "rhymes with 'pickle-my-knee,'" (sort of).

I've been going through my collection looking to document my remaining Mark Jewelers books. Seemed daunting till I recognized that I can eliminate books I've already pressed (I would have noted then), eliminate Direct Market, eliminate books outside of the time frame, etc. I've actually found two more so far. I'm glad I actually found a couple, making the effort feel worth it.

I have nearly a full run of DHP and do have a copy of 137. Should be in minty shape as I read it once and stored it away. Will have to dig it out and submit at some point. Maybe they’ll make a Predator vs Nazis movie and it will go to the moon.

That.Dark Horse Presents book is a ghost. I've been looking for it for years with no luck. I had no idea the print run was so small. I would be curious to know what you paid and if wherever you got it from knew what they had.Love the channel.

I will defend MTU 137 to the death. It ends as one big Hostess Fruit Pie commercial and is amazing for doing so.

The Born Loser comic strip is still going. I read it in the Sunday comics each week. It’s not TOO bad. It’s better than Beetle Bailey and Hagar the Horrible though. I don’t know who’s drawing and writing those strips these days, but they are TERRIBLE.
