X-men 97 and Spider-verse don't need to be a literal part of the MCU, the easter eggs and references here and there and use of similar concepts are more than enough.

I’m not a huge fan of your channel’s theories but this one goes a bit too far. It would be a massive stretch (and mistake) to make the animated universe connected to the live action version apart from some obvious inspirations and homages. Also, why does everything needs to be connected to the “all powerful MCU”? The MCU is not a pinnacle of quality and we just have to accept that 97 is “just” a sequel to a very successful 90’s animation where Wolverine is not the protagonist. It almost sounds like if that’s the case, Marvel Studios had a plan all along which is absolutely far from the truth on most cases. Let’s see how it goes in Deadpool.

You don't even have to go that far to connect dr strange with the X-Men. It's confirmed spiderman and X-Men crossed over, and Dr strange also appeared in Spider-Man, so THOSE characters all share a world. Also X-Men time travel is different from all others.

My head canon is that these absolute points in time/canon events are what defines a specific universe. What separates it from the other universes. Therefore, if you prevent that event, the universe is no longer defined.

I believe a future episode of "What If.." will be, more or less, an extra episode of X-Men 97, where Wolverine takes Bishop's / Forge's time travel device back and.. it covers the actual event of Wolverine stopping the Sintenal-kaiju, ending with the TVA pruning Wolvie, probably after a long hard fight.

This is a very interesting theory, but I still think that Wolverine will lead to the destruction of his world by killing the rest of the heroes, just like in the comic book where he was manipulated by Mysterio.

I hope the Wolverine in D3 is the one from X3, but he chose not to kill the Phoenix. He does that epic march towards her, and instead of stabbing her they kiss. The Phoenix goes on to wreck everything and then f off into space. Then everyone who is left alive is like "Way to go Wolvie, WTF!" Then he meets Deadpool, who is like "I get it. I f'ed my timeline for the woman I love too. Now let's go kill some TVA agents."

I like the idea that this is a Wolverine that failed at days of future past than Genosha. Maybe as that world was ending Blink opened a portal for Wolverine and teleported him to another universe to try to help them.

I think it would be funnier if Wolverine in Deadpool keeps making references to every time line (poking fun at how disjointed it all is) and Deadpool constantly questions it. Dont even try to make sense of it. Just everytime Wolverine has an emotional monologue explaining backstory (like Deadpool says he’ll do in that diner scene) he just goes “wait… but what? That doesnt explain anything” Like how in Wolverine origins he met Gambit in the past. But in Xmen 97 he meets him again, many years later, and he hasnt aged a drop.

seems like reed richards level of stretching in this one. the deadpool and Wolverine director was pretty clear when he said no one was going to have to do homework to understand the movie. this is a pretty big indication that this wolverine is a completely new wolverine than what we've seen, rather than some huge convoluted link to the xmen animated series from 1992.

When I watched the "What If Episode" about Christine, I got the impression that que absolut point in time was the Stephen Strange "heart" and not Christine's life. In the universe, Stranger's heart belonged to Christine and in the 616 universe it belonged to his profession. Thus there are Christines out there. 😅

In multiverse of madness we see America and Strange tumbling through realities and one of them is animated. I think it's safe to assume the animated universe exits apart from the live action characters. That being said, I bet the Deadpool Wolverine will be from a universe that's adjacent to the animated one, much like the illuminati in MoM and The Marvels end credit scene. I think you're right to assume Marvel's left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. But if they were trying to fix that, creating similar stories across their properties would help everyone keep track without having to actually be "the same" timeline/universe.

This wouldn’t work. First the show’s creator said no time travel to fix the situation in the show. Also the main villain for Deadpool and Wolverine is Cassandra Nova who seemingly has a connection to Wolverine. Unless she appears in X97 then maybe, but I doubt it.

Really fun video, but you kind of answered one of your own questions about the TVA. If there are multiple timelines in a universe and each universe has absolute points in time, it would stand to reason that each universe has the potential to build their own TVA based on the iterations of Kang/Loki that exist in the various timelines of that universe. The TVA we see in the trailers for Deadpool could be one where the events of the Loki series never occured. Or one where the TVA was founded and the sacred timeline was defined by someone else entirely. Maybe in that universe the Tennessee Valley Authority got a huge budget and vastly exceeded their mandate so now they are the ones pruning variants and recruiting Deadpool to ensure environmentally responsible agricultural and industrial development in the Tennessee Valley. I personally think that would be a more fitting explanation for a Deadpool movie because no one would see it coming.

The main problem with the theory of the Wolverine from Deadpool being the Wolverine from 97 is that if 97 wolverine destroys his universe in the end of this season, what will the next 2 already confirmed seasons of 97 be about?? In Loki season 2 it wasn’t an incursion more so the timeline was getting reset by Kang fail safe to reset the timeline when it gets out of control. He had Ramona go back on the sacred timeline and leave a younger Kang the TVA hand book so the events of his life would happen again. Spaghetti action was happening at the end of time once the loom failed thus causing a reset of the sacred timeline.

Understanding “Absolute points in time”, “Nexus events”, etc.: I’ve come to understand that these and other similar concepts are just different ways of describing these facts/ideas. That is, that one discipline like science, another such as sorcery, another referencing the Infinity Stones, each use specific terms for what, to the reader/viewer, is pretty much the same thing.

As long as you preserve the outcome of the event you wish to change, altering the timeline is possible. If your parents dying in front of you is a major event in your timeline. You can go back and fake their deaths and whisk them to the future with you. Because you’ve kept the event cannon, the timeline will accept your edit.

It’s an absolute point because in that timeline her death leads to him becoming Dr Strange. If he changes that, he doesn’t become Dr Strange and therefore can’t go pack to change it. Paradox. 616 absolute point is his car accident

X-Men 97 ... as Bastion eluded, literally 1997. The TVA they would encounter could be "pre-Loki" thus still having a "sacred-timeline" (following that weird timeline logic maybe during mid-Loki while he was doing 150 years of studying or something? Otherwise, Deadpool "time" is 30 years after X-Men 97, howeveer, next few seasons of X-Men 97 could follow X-Men: Days of Future Past - Doomsday and basically show the lead up to each of those X-Men shown slain on tombstones), then while in Void they encounter Cassandra Nova, she convinces them the "real" enemy is on the other side of the Void, past Alioth, and she gets Wolverine and Deadpool to jump through the sling ring portal to The Citadel to take out He Who Remains, only they find a rotting corpse and look over and see God of Stories sitting on his throne ... how, because time at the Citadel would always be "now" ... then, The Watcher and Agent Carter flag them over and ask them to join a team to go fight on Battleword. No "time travel stuff" to ruin Gambit sacrifice ... also, on a side note, it appears that they are setting up "Logan's Death" as an absolute point also, and this is why I think this Deadpool may need this Wolverine, because he cannot go back and resurrect the one from his universe.

Wolverine gets captured and gets his Adamantium torn from his body, charles erases magnetos mind which causes Onslaught to come in season 2.. all a part of Bastions big master plan for mutants to destroy themselves from within.. season 3 Apocalypse comes to finish the job

I feel that if wolverine did something that let his "world down" it must have been public enough that everyone would know what he did. I can't see how people would know that wolverine prevented something. It seems more likely he caused something big so that humans and mutants don't want him around. It also seems wolverine knows who cassandra is or at least of her enough to attack her on sight. Though I believe that this cassandra is a pruned version of her that did not cause the massacre yet because deadpool and wolverine sit down and talk with her then agree to do something for her before the end up going against her. I feel the fact she wasn't the same cassandra was her selling point to get them to side with her for a while.

I think there will be a special episode 11 that comes out after Deadpool and Wolverine. I think in the movie as the travel across timelines they will briefly appear as X-men 97 characters (similar to Dr. Strange MVM) . Then ep 11 will tie in all universes .
