"Comic booky". Yes, it is a good thing. It's the reason why the show is such a hit and such a success. They didn't steer too far away from the source material. The problem a lot of these adaptations have is that the producers and directors think they know better than the fans and the creators of the adapted properties. Making changes is sometimes necessary, and fans are ok with that, as long as the story doesn't suffer, as long as the characters aren’t completely out of character. This show is adapted from comic books, so yes, it should be "comic booky". A live action however, should not be comic booky. Bigger changes are required for a live action. The exposition in this show was absolutely incredible for a cartoon. They get into conversations that are gritty, and make you pause and think for a minute. Some of the dialogue is downright poetic at times. I give this show a 9.5/10 because there is always room for improvement.

@@eljeff5432I watched the entire review. There was zero snark, sarcasm, irritability, scorn, nothing negative. My comment was conversational, not accusatory, or demeaning/degrading. Maybe, MAYBE, you should check your easily offended sensibilities and check them before commenting on what you perceive to be slights. It is very easy to ‘read’ offense where none exists. What was that about condescending pricks? Your entire reply was dripping with condescension. Prick.
