Apocalypse is by far one of the most powerful mutants in X Men universe! he is huge, powerful and strikes fear to any other mutant... and they chose, with all due respect, an average height guy to play him!? I would have picked Dave Bautista, a tall and muscular actor to play this role!

Agreed. It's not as perfect as DOFP but it's hard to beat perfect. However, Apocalypse is certainly as good as Infinity War.

Apollyon done some very self centered jealous things but there are worse figures then him around. not even Michael seems keen on a one on one fight with Satan.. He usually is described as having a army or he trolls Satan by reminding him the lord would rebuke him. Christ might not be the creator btw.. I think people get carried by the trinity stuff the Catholics believed in. I could be wrong but people have a habbit of jumping to conclusions.

I don't think it is simple as bad or good. Is it bad to hate people that look down on you and go as far to kill your people because their different? Is it bad to protect your kind from being torture and kill? I never looked at him as evil. He simply wants to protect his people and he will kill anyone who tries to hurt them.

TheCruzan26 I am sorry, but magneto is very, VERY sinister. He will kill people when and if it suits his needs, while at the same time he hides behind his convenient excuses. There is a huge difference between Charles work, who defends people, mutants and humans alike, defending their civilian rights and Eric's uncontrolled bloodlust. Charles believes in co-existence of both species. Eric wants to kill all those humans who disagree with him- and many are innocent too. In the first x-men film, he tried to mutate the entire human population. The irony of this! He suffered under the hands of nazis-fascists and in the end he became exactly like them, acting on humans behalf without asking them first. Tormenting them. Taking away their liberties, their freedom, their right to chose..A tyrant. In the second film, he controls the mind of a mutant, through the cerebro's enhancement, to kill all humans. In the third movie, he still tries to manipulate Jean, into eradicating humanity, while during the first class series, he forces mankind to develop the sentinel program and now, in apocalypse, he tries to help En Sabah.. destroy everything.. Could he POSSIBLY be more evil?!

Some people hated this film but I do really really love this! Why?? They showed here how each x-men members do their powers and how powerful they are on it's own (and the fact that kurt and Peter is new but still got a lot of exposure). Plus, the cameo of Wolverine! I also like Charles emotions towards them and to other students, ready to sacrifice himself. Overall I LOVE IT!!! This is my fave x-men films along with Day of Future Past,First Class, and Logan.

@Luke M I know a lot of the hate is the way Apocalypse was designed. He looks nothing like the villian we loved from the comics or the 90s cartoon. Most people who grew up with that show waited almost 2 decades to see Apocalypse on the big screen, and when we finally did, instead of the monster we remember, we get blue Ivan Ooze. We were hoping to see him literally larger than life like he has always been, but the only time they did that in the movie was in a mind battle.

I'm not blaming Lawrence for this I blame the studio for making her role outside what the character is. mystique is never the center of anything unless it has to do with her kids. and the fact that she's never blue anymore. her status as a star has ruined the character of mystique

Apocalypse in the comics has the mutant ability to fully control every cell in his body, so he can do things like not need to breathe, be immune to poisons, be ridiculously dense so attacks have little effect on him and pretty much instantly regenerate from attacks that do, and change size at will.

This was one of their absolute best movies. I would give it 4 1/2 stars at least. I was surprised at how well done it was and have lost even more faith in the so called critics who say it was bad. This was a very good movie.

I much prefer his voice in this trailer than the final movie. The speech where he talks about bringing about a better world (1:48) just sounds better with his actual voice than when they modulated his voice

Disagree. I sympathize with Oscar Isaac wanting the audience to be able to hear his vocal performance, but for me Apocalypse is one of those characters, like Darth Vader or Locutus of Borg, like Mephisto in Diablo 2 or Sovereign from Mass Effect, where the inhumanity of the voice is crucial to the character's impressiveness. The movie only briefly modulated OI's voice enough to make him sound like Apocalypse to me...a notable example is during his Tower of Babel scene, when he says "No more superpowers."

This movie is actually the beginning of the Phoenix saga. In the beginning of this trailer, you see Jean having a dream about the destruction of the world. But that isn't En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse) causing it. Its actually her. When she becomes Dark Phoenix. SPOILER ALERT. When she is fighting apocalypse, he says "all is revealed" meaning Jean will be the true apocalypse.

The best scene of movie is from 39 to 50 minute, I've almost cried! It would be the the best movie lately made. Version which I found is decent good quality of video (720p as I can see). *Xmen: Mockingjay Part 2* Lol, giving screen time and importance to a character because of the actress playing them can make for a silly movie... Katniss will be shoe-horned into every scene, like she was for the previous film. This looks good, except for Miss Everdeen seeming like the main character. Hopefully its just the marketing department capitalizing on her fame and featuring more of her in the trailer.

Well DOFP is probably the best Marvel movie ever made and they didn't shoe horn her into the story. the story felt right that she was in the middle of the two ideologies of Professor x and Magneto. She represents the struggle between those two characters.

No. The dark Phoenix had it's problem, but it's better than apocalypse. Dark Phoenix is 7/10 for me because the soundtrack made the scenes better. Apocalypse was a 6/10 for me.

Atheist and other religious people are crossing limits by hurting people's feelings by mentioning the god names to villians. I say to them that they go n read the story of God Krishna and shri ram they never ever forced people, they were not selfish, they always spread love and peace all around the world . They also fought many wars but for peace and justice only not for their own glory.

It's just you. It wasn't written very well, it was sloppily edited, and was trying to do way too much in 1 movie. This trailer makes the film seem much better than it actually is.

***** That's your opinion. I found the movie fantastic. Like yes, some scenes were just a tad too unrealistic (Magneto destroying literally the world at once from egypt), but the acting was great, storyline was great, apocalypse was actually menacing, comedy was great. Honest 8.5/10
