I think it's evident and so sweet that when Michael refers to Charles and James refers to Magneto, I think their actually thinking about each other. even though their using their characters names it's like their masking the fact that maybe they did make each other feel the way Magneto made Charles feel and visa versa. i think their really good friends, it's so sweet

Fassbender is an AMAZING, AMAZING actor. Every time I watch him I don't SEE him, only the character. I'm also impressed of his well rounded, complete creation of his character...it what makes his characters so believable.

Their performances and chemistry was just WOW. Amazing job guys. You MADE this film.

I have to say, very impressed with Fassbender here for the reference he made to Magneto's past, his wife Magda, and their daughter Anya, who was unfortunately murdered, just as Fassbender stated. Really does show he cares about the character's history, and that's probably why he was so amazing in the movie.

Watching this again, I noticed between 4:58 and 5:05 you can see Fassbender's dyed blonde hair under his hat as he would've been filming Prometheus around this time.

Michael's voice always gets me, and James' accent is just perfect. But most of all, the way James stares at Michael really makes me wish they had a real romantic relationship. 🖤💛

Saw it yesterday.. Corker of a film! Fassbender and McAvoy's movie all the way! Magneto's such an unforgiving bad-ass, but you can totally understand why. And I totally welled up when Charles reminded him of his 'memory'.. Brilliant performances.

The first time I watched X-Men: First Class, I liked it because I was a fan of X-Men Movies from X-Men to X-Men: The Last Stand, so I liked the next X-Men movie, this movie. The first time I saw this movie, I was feel very sorry for Eric, he was separated from his mother because Eric himself could pull an iron fence. When Shaw asked Eric to display his strength, his mother died in front of him. Secondly, when Eric took revenge, old person who has rank at room of building militer office, old people in a bar, and Shaw at yacht. Third, when Charles met with Raven, Charles knew it was not his mother, his mother was never in the kitchen. Charles is very good to Raven, Charles considers Raven like his own younger sibling, Raven is also very happy with Charles, Raven actually likes Charles, but Raven knows that Charles only thinks of her as a younger sister, because he's the only child, he doesn't have siblings, and his parents are rarely at home. The fourth, Charles is so very clever, he has a thesis assignment, the task who only done by people who has strata 3, and Raven is very happy when Charles studies his thesis while Raven is on Charles's lap. Fifth, when Charles and Eric searched for other mutants, Charles had previously used Cerebro who was made by Hank. The sixth, it turns out Hank is also mutant, Charles and Raven are happy to see Hank as a mutant too. What I liked best, when the mutants Charles had discovered, learned to develop their strengths, including Eric, who could finally stabilize his strength with Charles's help. The funny thing is, when Banshee learned to fly and when Darwin wanted to be hit hard when he became a statue. Banshee believed in Charles but Banshee didn't believe in Hank, very funny, and he was very afraid that he would die if he plunge in from that height, it was more really funny, and Eric was with Banshee at that time, then Eric pushed Banshee, so much more really funny, until now I still laugh watching that scene. What I liked best, when Charles, Eric, Raven, and the other mutants tried to stop Shaw's bring into conflict to Russia and America. Banshee found Shaw's submarine, then Eric lifted that submarine from under the sea to the air then to the mainland, then mutually attacking the team of mutants Shaw and the team of mutants Charles and Eric, then Eric was asked by Charles to find Shaw. Charles did not want Eric to kill, including kill Shaw, but Eric killed Shaw with a coin, Shaw's coin that was asked by him to be moved by Eric when he was a child and his mother was taken hostage. Which is unfortunate, when Charles was hit by a bullet in his waist, Charles blamed Eric for causing him like that. Who was very tense, when the missiles were turned around way by Eric to the submarines that launched that missiles, and then Charles told Eric not to do that, Charles encouraged Eric to try to open Eric's head covering so Eric could be controlled by him but Charles can't, which eventually Charles was beaten again by Eric, then Eric was shot continuously, but Charles who was instead hit by one of that bullets. Which makes sad, Eric apologized, Eric poured out his heart to Charles, that he wanted Charles who was by his side, along with the other mutants, brothers and sisters. And Raven even joined Eric, along with other mutants, only Hank survived with Charles. Raven is principled proud as a mutant. Charles loses Raven. I didn't watch a movie in 2011, maybe five years after that. I do not know the closeness of James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender in that movie. When I watch X-Men: Days of future past and X-Men: Dark Phoenix, I watch clips of that movie on KZfaq, then on the KZfaq homepage there is an interview James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender 5 years ago, I watched that video, it turns out that James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender are really very close, there is love between them, I myself really like all the mutants in the X-Men movies, including Charles Xavier and Eric Lehnserr, so I like there is the love between James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, They both are match, even they are very harmonious, but unfortunately there is the love between James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender happened in 2011 to 2014 and 2015, whereas in 2019 I saw from the interview too, they were both like there was no love anymore, there were no sweet words anymore, they rarely joke anymore, they rarely laughed together anymore, and in some interviews Michael Fassbender often did not see in the direction of James McAvoy, that interviews in 2019 James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender were really very "cool", very unattractive, but I kept the interview videos.

Although Xavier is like the "lead" character of the movie, I think Michael Fassbender's portrayal of Magneto totally stole the film. I think his characterization of Magneto is much more in line with the comics than Ian McKellan's.

You know what's great about X Men first class? The lead roles are played by an irishman and a scotsman... I just think that's awesome.

Magneto makes this movie. Even when he was on the "good side" he was scary. Every time he was on the screen I was wondering what he was going to do or who he was going to hurt or kill.

@78artistman yeah, it made the most recent xmen movie more interesting for X to get paralyzed during the movie, and ties a lot of things together for less serious movie goers like myself. I hadnt remembered all those scenes you mentioned, so it wasnt as big a deal.

This movie is so good (and especially these guys) that I would watch it even if it weren't titled Xmen, and had NOTHING to do with super powers.

Why do great interviews always end too soon!?

Magneto makes this film. Fantastic interplay between Charles and Magneto and Kevin Bacon is actually a menacing Sebastian Shaw! I wasn't impressed with magneto in the last three Xmen films, but in this one, by the end, you truly believe he's the most powerful mutant on earth.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with wolverine hogging screen time coz he is one of the coolest character ever to be created in xmen and everyone likes him! in this particular movie however the cameo scene played by hugh was magnificent!

If I lived in the marvel universe, I'd join Magneto.

I`d say recruiting Mutants at A Prison FILLED TO THE BRIM WITH ANTI-MUTANT WEAPONS as Stryker`s Prison was in " Origins " and recuiting An Omega Level 5 Mutant with Godlike Power as in " Last Stand " DEFINITELY QUALIFY !

They can always reboot the saga with this movie and always have the same actor for Wolverine, since he's the perfect fit for wolverine no matter Wolverine has to look young or old...
