The current BP (Coates) run did/does a better job at showing storms true power than any recent x comic and rouge i personally feel is better off without the x men they haven't utilized her character in years and I'm not even a Marvel fan. They're wasting these characters talents i tells ya.

RajOfColumbus completely co-sign. Ta-Nahesi is doing A phenomenal job with Ro, Shuri, and T’Challa. Plus he is rebuilding their relationship. More organic than before.

In the original, Rouge accidentally killed captain Marvel by stealing her power. So thats the reason why she is overpowered.

You need to check out Ta-Nahesi Coates’ Black Panther. Storm is everything we want as Storm fans there. In the X-Men, she is a secondary character and will always be a bench warmer for Cyclops and Wolverine... and now Jean Grey and Kitty. I gave up on primary X comics years ago. Black panther is where it’s at!!!

@@primalmage2055 You can ship her with whoever you like, that's personal preference, but I did not like how that whole marriage was setup, and their histories were retconned for it. I also didn't like how Storm was handled when they were married. It played right into the rewritten history. Which was her being rescue by T'Challa and not the other way around. Their first meeting was one of mutual rescue, and her rescuing him. Then they turned her into a Damsel in distress and that P*ssed me off

This was the first comic I ever read and it spoiled me. I have yet to find another comic that even comes close to how good Hox Pox is. So sad Hickman left. Inferno felt so rushed.

Marvel put BP and storm back together so anything is possible at this point. Not a marvel fan but the three relationships i know of Scott And Jean, BP and Storm, Pete and MJ plus Rouge and gambit should be untouched more so for BP/storm and Rouge/gambit don't touch those let them be.

It's not really "the X-Men need saving" The X-Men and mutants in general had been facing a phasing out of Marvel comics in the past several years so that Fox Studios wouldn't own every new character dubbed a mutant. Now that the Disney buyout of Fox has gone through, that's not an issue, so it's more of a "X-Men and mutants need to be brought back to their former prominence" thing
