I was born in 2002 and I watched Batman the animated series with everything after that, spiderman the animated series and unlimited, and this show. I obviously watched a lot of the shows that came after as well but I feel like I grew up in great time to watch these shows that came before me and some great shows that came after me. We don’t have shows like this anymore.

I imagine a lot of us here were probably toddlers when this debuted. All I can say is I’m 40 years old, went through a very rough two years with my dad passing away, & this show somehow reignited a spark & made me do something I haven’t done in a long time: smile 🥹🥹🥹 From the bottom of my heart, thank you Marvel & Disney for reviving the show 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ you helped ease the pain 🙏🙏🙏

@@smugfortuneV2 i can understand that feeling in terms of the intro being polished up, but the X-Men has a huge cast list so adding new characters to the intro was inevitable and exciting. Having Nightcrawler in the Intro brought me a ton of joy as he's one of my favorite characters

@@smugfortuneV2 oh it most certainly does have some nostalgic pandering in it, I think it comes with the territory. I feel like the quality of the writing heavily overshadows it though. It's just such an incredible show with Hilarious, heartwarming, gut wrenching moments that have stuck with me ever since I watched it. I'm actually due for a rewatch soon

with modern day SJW writers though. The voice actors are back coming back which is good, but it's not the same writing staff which is bad. Some of the original writers/creators are back. Some of the original creators have gone super woke lately, which is problematic. Modern SJW writers can't handle 90's wolverine, he smokes, drinks, cusses at people.

x-men first class:60's x-men days of future past:70's x-men apocalypse:80's if they make one more x-men flick w/ mcavoy/fassbender and set it in the 90's they better get this theme to play,i'd hit the ceiling,and yeah get a deadpool cameo working

But the continuity would be more messed up than ever. I mean, shouldn't Charles and Magneto be like 60 in the 90s? Yet both McAvoy and Fassbender aren't even 40 yet.

but didnt the deadpool comics debut in the early 90's?and DP is the kind of character you can put almost anywhere,i'm guessing charles and magneto would be in their 50's during the 90's era,its supposed to come in full circle leading up to the very first x-men flick that started in 2000

journeymanX Some people have speculated that the Deadpool movie could be set anywhere from the late-90s to modern day, it's not exactly that clear. While they could set in the 90s, I think it takes place in 2000s or present day.

Remember when Cyclops was the leader and star of the X-Men and not Wolverine? Good times. For the record I don't hate Wolverine, I just dislike how the Fox movies treated Cyclops like a throw-away character, you know, that one character that exists in some movies whose sole purpose is just to die and make you feel bad.

I don't think that's what they will do. They will probably keep as is or maybe they could completely retouch on the series since some of the later seasons artwork was shit, I heard they asked Koreans or some Asian countries to produce them and didn't ask their money back for the bad product they got.
