Honestly, both versions of this song are absolutely incredible. The chiptune in the original is just so good - it's iconic for a reason. And the synths in this version just make it an absolute banger

The fact they added a whole second melody to this song is just insane to me. Same with Rogueport sewers, the thousand year doors room. THIS REMAKE IS INSANE DUDE

I think what is amazing about this remake is that it seems like the team involved had so much fun with it. This music embodies just the love and excitement of the fans. Great music

I always made an effort to use every partner I could in the dungeons when I played this game, and the layouts themselves helped a lot with that. But here, I ended up having Goombella out for nearly the entire fortress. Almost every enemy here seemed made just for her to fight. It almost felt deliberate, like the developers knew that she's the partner who has the most beef with Lord Crump at this point in the game.

I was telling this to my brother the other day, we were going STUPID to this song, and I said "That's how you know a song is bop, cause you can dance a little or nod your head to any music, but when you hear a song that makes you go STUPID, like you're doing crazy movements, thats how you know a song is a bop." And this remade song is a BOP. Like I keep saying, the remake team rarely disappointed with the music in this game

I played this chapter at night and I’m so lucky no one noticed the music cus I put this high and was just vibing

I like to think this song is actually just playing in the x naut fortress and everyone can hear it.

I was initially not big on this one cause the first 15 or so seconds in the original are so near and dear to my heart, but this is an undeniable upgrade that feels much better to listen to as a complete track. The Vocaloid-ish countermelody in the Sublevel 3 version really won me over too.

This is SO much better to listen to. The OG is a classic, but this has sooooo much more going for it, not just the lunar esque lead synth, and it’s LONGER which was my main gripe with the OG.

As I recently anticipated, this version goes way harder than it was the original. I'm glad that I've gotten better with my liking of the song now.

Always wanted to hear a modern remix of this one!!

I felt a little off on this at first. Because they changed the leading instrument at the start of the song, but It’s growing a lot on me. And that’s without mentioning the other 3 versions of this song too :p I really like that they took the techno-theme of the OG track, and made that a theme for the entire moon area. The Moon battle theme, and Magnus 2.0 having a heavy techno emphasis in their songs too. I LOVE the synergy.

The enemy base really knows how to drop the base.
