台州市，是中华人民共和国浙江省下辖的地级市，位于浙江省东部沿海。市境南界温州市，西邻丽水市、金华市，北接绍兴市、宁波市，东濒东海。地处浙东山地丘陵及沿海平原，地势西高东低，西部多丘陵。北有天台山，南有括苍山、雁荡山，东部为温黄平原。永安溪、始丰溪于市境中部汇合成灵江，往东流汇集永宁江后称椒江，并注入台州湾出海。沿岸有多个港湾，有玉环岛、台州列岛、东矶列岛等岛屿。市人民政府驻椒江区白云山南路233号，常住人口667.8万人。
