Thanks Q8 for another excellent stream. I never manage to see them live but always watch those that fit my needs (X-plane as I don't have MSFS, for practical reasons, not partisan...), and I've watched your FJS Q400 videos lately as I've had it sitting in my hangar for quite a while. So after watching your vids I gave it a test flight today and am absolutely thrilled by it, a truly great achievement by FJS, and definitely an add-on I'm going to fly quite a lot! thanks again and take care Q8

A really great plane. The VNAV woks really well, just set the desired descent rate

It is indeed a great plane. I enjoy flying it too! I think you didn't get the autopilot to do the ILS because you were running parallel to the approach and didn't turn in to the glideslope. But you can indeed fly it by hand if you have such a problem. Happy landings!

Move the windshield wiper to the up position to lower the wind noise, that is modeled from the real plane. I saw that from a Q400 pilot in another channel. I wish I could remember which channel, because he had good tips.

ive noticed upon landing when reverse applied rpm goes red...happens to me also you think is nornal or we should apply only beta instead if reverse?

the q400 is nice yeah. but I prefer the 200 n 300 series more. I hope it'll be added as well in the sim

I have one problem with XPlane 12. Out side the cockpit the scenery is great. When I go back into the cockpit the scenery is just very white and basically can’t be seen. Do you have any suggestions. Thanks Steve

Hi! Love your videos an₫ they have been very useful as I'm now getting into the flightsim world. Tried P3D but found the interface far too clunky and laborious to use. Enjoying Xplane 12 thus far. One question: how do you get the camera to zoom around like that? For example, when you went from the Captain's seat to the cabin, it was so seamless. I cannot figure out how to move the camera around like that.

Thanks for your words. I use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out. You also use period and comma keys.

I had difficulty updating Navigraph in the Mac version of the sim. :(

Look at the way you can feel the resistance of gravity at takeoff. You can feel the aircrafts thrust fighting the force of gravity. In MSFS the aircraft can't wait to float off into space. Everything is simply true to life in XP.

Couldn't agree more! That's why I don't fly MSFS anymore, only XP and P3D!
