Have the same bike, rear suspension is shipped with almost no preload on the spring. Just spin the collar down until your close on your sag adjustment. As long as your expectations are in line with a 250cc air cooled 4stroke these are great little bikes that really punch over their weight.

The rear suspension on the 250 X is fully adjustable, as is the front.

That rear suspension is supposed to have both preload and dampening adjustments.
