I have found a few of those odd little plates with the slots in them, never knew what they were, it seem the majority believe them to be ice block seperators, could be! But to me there just scrap metal. It just goes to show, that you don't have to have the high end and more expensive detectors to go detecting with, a very good entry level detector! Cheers Luke!

I think i tend to agree @wayne armstrong those weird plates seem to make sense being the old ice cube trays. I am only old enough to know of plastic trays but I reckon I have seen the old ones in markets before. 100% agreed to mate. For a cheaper entry level metal detector...the new Elite is a bloody ripper👌 Take care until the next, cheers heaps Wayne👍👍🤝

The Xterra Elite is a brilliant offering and checks all the boxes for a wonderful intermittant detector that challenges other SMF detectors above it’s price point!

For a entry level cheaper priced metal detector @Stack Silver I am seriously impressed so far using and testing the new X-terra Elite out. It hits hard, processes, individualises, and separates the targets super quick in trashy ground. Not to mention it feels amazing to swing all day, just like the new 700/900 Equinox range👌 I highly recommend it! @@DigItDetecting Yes, I ordered the Expedition pack versio yesterday to keep with me in the car for those impromtu/unplanned stops to detect an area. On specs alone, I consider it a higher lever intermediate level detector. I have been impressed with it from the many videos I viewd of others putting it through its paces. I can’t wait to start swinging it.

Super video Luke. Really enjoyed seeing the 2 coil sizes being used and seeing how they work. Great refresher on why you use the larger one in some areas and smaller one in trashy or more target areas. 👍👍👍⚒️👍

One of the best combinations to run 100% @Thomo it just needs a bit of getting used to for some to convert to small coils...once they do though👌👌😎⛏️

Hey have you thought about revisiting the nox 900 after updating it? The responses have stabilized a bit more and it sounds solid just like the Elite. I have not seen many videos out there showing off the update on the nox 900(it’s the detector that I have) hoping you can maybe make one!

The Elite is nice, but I am not trading my Equinox 700 for it. But I might trade my Vanquish 540 pro pack for the Xterra Elite
