By far one of the best and last American bands left from a forgotten time! X... Will you please bring the flag!

Wow!! This sounds GREAT!!! The vocals are way out in front!!!! It takes some doing to drown out Billy Zoom and silver flake Gretsch!!! This is in support of my favorite X album, Under the Big Black Sun.

Wild Gift, such a great album -- all of them are, but that is a favorite of mine and this is a great live set, very well recorded -- especially appreciate the good high vocal mix, didn't always get that in the front row back in those days :-)

Maybe the most surprising thing about X is that Dick Clark had them on his "American Bandstand" TV show in 1982, '83 and '85. The Euphoria Tavern here was always a great stop on the Portland Pub Crawl.

How can this have so few views and comments? X - The very best “lost” American band. PS - One of the greatest band names in history. Have you ever wondered, though, would they have had more “success” if they sported an easier name to talk about or promote?

Its a whole other dimension of sound.Not diminishing anything they had going.Genius.Where has this been? Definitely at the top of their game in 82’ I have in my possession a bootleg cassette I got from my buddy El Jeffe, of an X gig in Pontiac Michigan at the Clutch Cargo Tavern in 1982. Same energy, same in the fuckin pocket precision Rock Punk. This tape is one of my most prized possessions because my buddy is no longer in this world. But this guy introduced me to John Doe and DJ Bonebreak at this pub in Tempe Az called the Green Room in 98’ I think. Great guys. Coupla jokers. Anyway, this bootleg sounds outstanding. Very good and welcome excellent archival recording but somebody with sound engineering skill like the ‘Get Back ‘ doc needs to clean this up. We deserve great recording of full concert from such an important band!!
