Europe's largest non-group wire producer, Westfälische Drahtindustrie (WDI), has placed its trust in the strong performance, stability, and eco-friendliness of the Linde X50 electric forklift. Prior to using the new model for outdoor operations, the company had already assigned indoor duties to the e-powered Linde E30. Based on the all-around positive experiences made with Linde Material Handling’s E generation, WDI made a conscious choice when it added the X generation to its fleet as well.
Mastering even the most ambitious tasks with ease - like transporting 3-ton wire coils across a site with ramps and slopes -, the Linde X50 won everybody at WDI over in next to no time. The company’s Head of Logistics Maximilian Müller praises the Linde X50 for showing “that these days it really is possible to replace a diesel forklift truck 1:1 with an electric forklift truck without having to make any compromises.” And truck driver Turin Sengül adds, that the new truck is very quiet, too, so that “we drivers don’t finish our eight-hour shift with ringing in our ears.”
