X570, Zen 2, Ice Lake...there's a whole lot of CPU news from Computex 2019. Join me as I go over all these developments and give you some of my thoughts on them.

AMD announced a 16C/32T Ryzen 9 CPU, some 4-core APUs and a new Navi graphics card at another event which happened a few days after I finished recording this. I'll be making a news video about that soon.

now i have to wait for benchamarks, if my build r5 2600 on feb 2019 to this 3rd gens..... welp.... not to mention i need to upgrade my rams to samsung b dies (since i have is 3000mhz Hynix A-dies), and if 3rd gens are much better percentages.... maybe my gtx 1080 might stretch a bit more on the fps...."maybe" :'D

What kind of games do you play (AAA or e-sports) and at what resolution and fps? Depending on what you're looking for, you may not have to upgrade your CPU at all. Ryzen 2000 is great till around 100fps in AAA games (then the CPU becomes the bottleneck) so you'd be fine with your 2600 here. But if you're looking for an average of 144fps in AAA games, then Ryzen 3000 might be better because of higher single-core performance.

nice! thanks, will take note of that, will wait for benchmarks just in case and wait for reviews for the games i play, i play randomly so it depends, though mostly now on MMO like Phantasy Star Online 2, triple A games sometimes like DMC 5 or Destiny 2 for sometimes....
