Xal's weapon form and its appearance is a helluva lot closer to Frostmourne and Primus/Jailer, specifically. We don't know if part of their deal were weapons for his brethren (perhaps to dominate), but I wouldn't swear its Titan construction at all if the above is taken into consideration. Sorry, I have to wholly disagree that Amunthul wouldn't know Elune if she were part of the SL - he obviously knew of the Shadowlands and interacted with its most powerful member(s). That aspect (no pun intended) just comes across as a wholly bad take on the surface. Finally, while a crescent moon COULD be a rune per se, it doesn't make it that way by default. Sometimes icon symbol choices are merely that of individuals without being part of some runemagic automatically. No, Titan souls do NOT natively go to the Shadowlands. Argus was filled intentionally with anchors TOWARDS that end and with his death, it is what happened as a result. Just from his appearance there (and he wasn't the FIRST or ONLY Titan to ever die supposedly) that it disabled the existing Arbiter, which further strengthens its uniqueness. It was artificial, direct manipulation. I mean, c'mon... Titans go to arcane/order seemingly unless 'fuckery' occurs, which only on record happened once and the evidence strengthens that with NOTHING hinting at any other occurrence of it.

I actually commented this in a Pyro's video two weeks ago and his fanatic fanbase rampaged me 😂 The simple idea that she has SHINING CRESCENT MOON in her eyes is too strong not to consider she has a strong connection to Elune, as her half-soul, avatar, servant, whatever you choose. And when Tyrande summoned the Night Warrior's power in the cutscene she demands "to wear her darkest face", then she literally has void-like face and becomes an instrument of vengeance. And guess what?! She also has a HUGE SHINING CRESCENT MOON all over her forehead... C'mon!

It makes a kind of half-assed sense that every dead being goes through the Arbiter, as it's heavily hinted that the four realms of afterlife are not the ONLY four that exist. Things that don't stay dead like Titans just get sent to the appropriate penalty box to wait out their time before respawning in-game.

Elune learned from the shadowlands, has observed all the Cosmic Forces, and knew that greatest deception to throw all of them off was to become corporeal? What if Azeroth was on the verge of Dying/being corrupted by the Old Gods, so a hint was laid down to get Amanthrul to find Azeroth. Elune knew Order could not abide by this, and what happened there happened. When Zovaal did what he did, Azeroth/Elune left the shadowlands to return to Azeroth. To help protect herself. Knowing that the Mortal Races had the potential to become stronger than the cosmic Forces. However, they needed time to grow and evolve. We know that she allowed Teldrassil to happen to send Ardenweald souls, but did not know about Orobos being broken. Her being back "on" Azeroth would explain why she was ignorant of that. What if the Night Warrior ritual is a misinterpretation of an whole Ritual. Just as Magni misinterpreted the Ritual that turned him into Diamond. The Void again encroaches to her Soul yet again, but the Titans are ofcourse busy keeping Sargeras imprisoned. The Light is to fanatical to send help until its almost too late, Fel isn't an option, and we know that Life can't control itself. So Azeroth/Elune is calling out to us now. "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi you are our only hope." kind of thing. Thoughts? Am I based, or baked? I'd love examples disproving, or ideas that support it. just be respectful.

There are two moons, don't forget about that, so a luner eclipse could happen also when the smaller blue moon (the blue child) moving Infront of the bigger white moon (mother moon)

you're 100% on to something the rising crescent moon symbol is used in sects of modern Celtic-based (lol like i am, side note) paganism. the first time i came across this symbol i was reading The Mists of Avalon. In the book, the priestesses of Avalon (the female sect of an ancient coven of druids) wore that exact symbol between their eyes/on the fore head. much of night elf lore is Celtic based. that was the reason i chose night else all those decades ago, and have always been night elf and will always be night elf xD hahaha... so it makes sense to me what you're saying even moreso, knowing these things connect deeply. so cool!

Taking into consideration what happened to Sylvanas when stabbed by Arthus, the dark side of Elune could have been put into a morneblade. In this case, since it was a stronger being, it couldn't be kept completely contained.

Blade of the black empire has the shape of two crescents moons combined into one. Also domination runes? I wouldn't be surprised if she's a fragment of Elune/blue child's soul that was torn out by titans or primus

It's like magic systems. Sending us to the realms of death means you have to explain how it works. Magic systems are often vague in how they work for the same reason. Who wants to get into all of that? Plus you start seeing inconsistencies and that leads to confusion, etc.

@9:15 a good question for the artist: Why is 1/3 of Xal'atath's iris obstructed by her eyelid? I don't see the crescent moon. I see improper proportions. Her iris is literally larger than her eyes naturally open, which is really... weird, and not in a lore-related sort of way.

At 13:00 you said all Titans go to the shadow lands and I don't think that is true. Argus went because he was infused with death magic. The normal titans are infused with order magic. So likely, there is a realm like the shadow lands that is like the 'order lands'

I wonder if Xala's plot was originally Silvanas's plot to go against the great cosmic design, but the devs felt like they had to get rid of her after so many people started crying about seeing her so much. We need more Sylvanas. Now that's a real conspiracy theory

I've had an assumption that Xal'atath may not be with them. There always seems to be a Judas somewhere and I can see her being that. Whether her goals are beneficial to us is questionable, but we'll have to see.

This goes into stretch territory for me. Not because it's a bad theory, but because they literally just did the split soul thing with Sylv. I don't think they would want to do the same thing with Xal no matter who she is or is involved with.

When he pulled up the cinematic and showed Xala'tath...those markings looked like they were seared into her flesh and the placement reminds me of a face guard on a helm. Probably tricked into putting it on and getting this stuff burned into her flesh. the other runes also look like Black Empire too.

Elune the moon has 2 sides like the Naru light always chasing the dark (phases of the Moon) look into the legion encounter Sisters of the Moon text might have hints.

Okay I'm totally confused now. I quit wow before the first patch in shadowlands. But came back in the last patch of DF. I thought the whole story of SL was that the Nathrezim were corrupting Argus with death magic so when he died he DID go to shadowlands and a titan spirit going there broke the arbiter or whatever it was called. But now blizzard confirms all dead titans go there? Then how tf did the sorter thing even break?

I like the ideas, but I keep thinking back to xal'atath's whispers. I really hope we eventually find out what Xal'atath is/was and how exactly she ended up in the knife. - She directly implies she is one of the beings we call the old golds. - She also implies that she is one of the "first" and that they have masters (whom reside in a different realm). First what? Dunno. First warriors from the void realm to be sent to Azeroth I presume. - Their masters are the void lords or whatever it is that we recently found out is likely coming to devour Azeroth. - She implies that the naaru are equals/brothers that took or chose a different path. - She considers Elune a great enemy - She mentions having an opinion on "this world's new owners". The Titan's own Azeroth? Or Who? Who owned it before? - She's made it clear that we haven't seen the true powers of the shadow and the light.

Saw a theory that Xalath might actually be Alleria Windrunner after she was completely taken over by the void who got stuck in past after she was betrayed by the oldgods
