I noticed that there’s a slight sense of awareness of reality’s physical decomposition under the control of AI albeit unintentionally. For instance, in 1:26, after Seymour soars through the window and into the sky, Chalmers moves his head back and widens his eyes in confusion of seeing Seymour vanish into the sky. A similar instance occurs from 1:33 to 1:38 when Chalmers’s hand suddenly becomes covered with large blisters and Chalmers looks at his deformed hand in shock and confusion before running out of the door to remove himself from the indicators of reality falling apart. Although Seymour and Chalmers are both victims of the influences beyond their comprehension and are unable to control them from the inside, Chalmers is the only one who is also the spectator, so he knows that things are wrong, unlike Seymour. Surreal horror at its finest.
