a modern villain that isnt talked about enough is tinyviolin he wasnt able to get scarab lord so he went FULL villain arc, started dispelling and griefing world buffs, so much that blizzard added chronoboons, but nowadays he's still griefing hardcore servers, you might know him from the 5th horseman incident where he leveled all the way to lvl 60 and killed a whole naxxramas group by pulling one of the horseman to the other killing many and now he JUST griefed another group in Cthun, pulling when he shouldnt and got many people killed he IS the modern wow classic villain

We got the legendary bow in my guild on our like sixth or seventh kill. And both the hunters we had were both trials and didn't know if they would stick around so they decided to give it to a rogue as well. I'm so glad I was a ret pally and stuff like that didn't concern me lol.

Kralnor was the guy who found low level staff with no attack speed on it! It when you melee attack it would unleash barage of white attacks and you die within seconds

I’ve had my account since MOP through all expansion now back on sod and classic and countless hours but for 10K I’d sell mine even though I got rare mounts and glad titles it wouldn’t be to hard to get them back

8:31 A friend with atiesh sold his WoW account in tbc for 13k euro. I received multiple offer for my account and for a guild I was the guild leader in. Someone would've paid me 3k euro for the guild name and the highest offer I got for my account was around 20k euro. I declined. Back at that time I was in one of the best PvP guilds, had one of the highest amount of HK's and playtime and other valueable stuff. I don't even play much WoW for some years now but would even decline 30k euro nowadays. Pretty sure Xaryu would get offer around 50k from some people for sure because of the amount of rank 1 titles.

Being actually in the leroy video, I can tell you we came up with it just sitting there waiting on explanations and regen. It wasn't really pre-planned very much. I don't know how famous streamers do it b/c after leroy P4L was constantly followed around and it became super annoying with all the whispers and fan boys.

The lego bow from Sunwell was a DPS loss for hunters because it didnt factor in the added DPS from arrows in your quiver since the lego bow generated its own through an item effect. This is the forgotten reason as to why a rogue got the stupid bow. It was nice but at the time, every hunter was aware of it not being BiS.

This isn't true at all. Thori'dal is a huge dps upgrade for hunters over everything else. The damage range of Thori'dal alone more than compensates for not using arrows. You can check the gear on the top parses for yourself. For some reason youtube is deleting my comments with the link. But it can be found at classic warcraftlogs > raids > tbc > swp.

Can you check the parses from original TBC for me? because what I shared was definitely the sentiment 17 years ago amongst prog-raiding guilds. Edit: (It is possible the incorrect sentiment was shared around, but this was certainly the belief when the world-first bow first dropped and hadnt been tested.) @@stemson6883 Thori'dal has 163 dps. The next bis weapon is the Golden Bow of Quel'Thalas with 97 dps. The best arrows you can get are the timeless arrows which adds 53 dps. 97+53 = 150 dps which is less than Thori'dal. From the hunter discord FAQ. It shows that Thori'dal sims at 3968 dps while the next best (golden bow) sims at 3777 dps. "My guildies say Thori'dal isn't BiS. Is this true? Let them down easy, for they have fallen victim to parroting --redacted--- from 15 years ago.. In the ---redacted--- below you can see both iterations of thori'dal that were "leaks" and "never live"" I'm not sure why youtube is deleting my comments but I'm removing some words that might trigger some algorithm for removal.

@@wowhallo Brother, Listen to me. Im 99% sure you just theorycrafted more than the entire playerbase of Aman'thal back in 2007. We raided socially and for fun and we still were the 2nd most progressed in PvE for the server. Im sure people got things wrong all the time. I am sharing a sentiment that went around during the game 17 years ago. All the math in the world isnt going to correct me. You very well may be right in terms of people parsing in 2020. Vanilla and era were not the same game.

Anyone who doesn't see the forums of WoW as a personal challenge, is a follower. I know in phase 2 of SOD hunter BM is not the best. But it's what I enjoy, it's what I like and I'll be damned if you tell me what I should play. I enjoy BM hunter and I'll play it and I will find a way. Yeah your spec might have some advantage, but I'll have fun playing what I play and I'll contend. If you wanna go melee hunter or whatever, good on ya. You might beat me on the meters, but I'll have more fun. Because I'm having fun playing what I want. Wanna know the truth? Be ready for it classic Andy. The bottom tier of every spec can easily clear all the content and it's a matter of seconds, not minutes. Especially in SOD. You aren't good, you're just pressing 2 buttons. You aren't skilled, you aren't good, you aren't special... You just picked the class that has the best optimization for this particular phase.

Funny to see how he doesn't get the Kralnor topic, overthinking about some hidden meaning. That's what happens with people who didn't play vanilla back then, where all the knowledge wasn't spread over 19 websites and 6 videos a day on youtube, people were using forums asking/pretending knowing stuff altough it was often not true, but with a very loud voice in the community and this one will remember you. That's also why the game can't be the same anymore. I've watched every part of this Madseason video and knew like more than half of the people talked about in it even if those are from 15y+ ago. I'm 100% sure we won't remember BFA or Dragonflight stargamers expect maybe for the most successful streamers, maybe.

Xar there is a sword in diablo 4 for barbarians called Ramalagnis magnum opus. It drains Fury(rage) every second but skills used with this weapon do dmg × (however much) fury possesed at the time of casting said skill. Just thought id drop that in 😊

@@beyOndzZz things weren't very balanced in classic era, they are even less balanced in sod. like 5 classes have straight up one shot abilities, pvp in sod is not competitive or balanced in the slightest. I wouldn't mind seeing arena tho if they just add it for fun rather than to farm gear. Hopefully they figure out a way to make sod pvp competitive so it would actually be fun

I was friends with Analogkid back in the day. I mained a Rogue for 17 years and he was the dude who taught me how to play. Great guy. The people whining back then had no business whining, it wasn't their guild and the vast majority of them couldn't even set foot into Sunwell let alone beat KJ. Plus the two hunters were brand new, while Analogkid had been with the guild since day one without missing a raid.

It's a reenactment apparently. Hence the weird lines about percentage. But the dive in and death are real, they just did not happen to record the original so acted it again recording.
